3rd POV

Team (team name) was waiting very anxiously for their friends return "Do you think he'll be different?" Maddy said and Shin shrugged "He has been gone a long time since we last saw him" and Tex stayed silent waiting for the aircraft that was bringing their friend back. Tex sat in silence as the two talked to each other and all three looked up as a bullhead came into land. It wobbled a bit and landed with a hard thud breaking off the landing gear. They all looked at each other and the door came open "I thought you said that you could fly!?" the pilot said yelling at someone inside "I said I could I never said how well I could" the person inside said and they jumped out. The shadow from the persons black cloak hid the top half of their face and the person jumped out and looked at the three "Sup guys" the man said and pulled down his hood  "(Y/n)!" Maddy said jumping at him and he caught her and patted her head "What's up small fry?" he then fist bumped Shin "Good to have you back pal" and (Y/n) grinned back "Good to be back" and he looked over to the blue haired female "What, nothing?" he said and Tex punched his arm "Yep, still stings just as much as it did" he said rubbing his arm "Glad you finally decided to show yourself again" she said and he chuckled "I like taking my time" "Yeah, but nine months, your missing so much, it's going to be awhile before you get all caught up" she said and he shrugged "Oh wellz"

Time skip

(Y/n) POV

It's been a few weeks since I got back here and it hasn't changed at all, my teachers dropped the things I was missing and I've been working on my end for Cinder's plan in secret. My team has also been training our asses off for this years tournament, for the occasion I reforged my longbow and gave it a new outlook on life and how to end it. I renamed it Black Spindle and I used some of the dark arts I learned to make it so it will never stop killing. I keep Dreadfang in my closet and it is locked in it's sheath to make sure no one knows of it's existence. I was sitting in my room twirling my pen in my fingers looking over notes that we did in class today and the door came open "Evening" I said biting the end "Afternoon" my 'fearless' leader said coming in and grabbing something "Going out?" I asked him and he nodded "Yeah, me and Tex are going out tonight" "Oh, so you guys are together?" I asked him and he nodded "Yeah, later" he said and left "I thought he'd never leave" I said getting up and throwing my book to the side. I put on my armor and I put my mask under my arm and I put Thorn in my holster. I opened my other scroll and it was a message from Cinder:

There has been some local competition in Vale and they have been getting our way

Go remind them that no one should step in our way

Whatever means necessary

I smirked to myself 'Woman knows what she wants' I thought putting on my mask and I left for the city. It was fairly late so not many people were out and about, if they were out they were coming back form their jobs. I ventured towards the slums of the city, the real bad part of town, a drug dealer on every corner and everyone here has guns.  I walked down the street paying not one person mind till I came to the front of the house where a local gang has been messing with our own guys around here. Out front where about five and four were men and one girl "What do you want?" one guy said and lifted up his shirt to reveal his handgun "Just a chat" I said and I made it seem like nothing was going to happen. One of the guys walked up to me and he was a full head taller than me "Why should we do that?" he said getting in my face "Here's a tip, next time you get in my face" and I kicked the inside of his leg where his knee would be breaking it and I shoved my knife into his throat "Don't" I said yanking the knnife out and I whipped out Thorn and shot the other guys. The chick ran inside and I could hear movement inside "Oh, this'll be fun" I said cracking my knuckles and going inside. I pulled out one of the shrapnel grenades I had on my belt and threw it inside. It went off with a loud bang and some of the windows blew out "Love these things" I said going inside, stepping over the remains of the people that were inside. I went upstairs trying to find their leader and I saw someone run into one of the rooms "One Two (Y/n)'s coming for you, Three Four better lock your door" and one came out of the rooms and tried to stab me but I dodged it and snapped his neck "Five Six get your crucifix, Seven Eight better stay up late" and I walked up to the door and kicked it in sending it flying into the back wall and I killed all the remaining members and I found him hiding under a table and I flipped it over "Hey bud, let's chat" I said grabbing him and I picked up a chain that hung form the wall. I secured it on some furniture and wrapped it tightly around his neck "No, please don't kill me" and I stopped by the window "Oh don't worry, I'm not going to kill you" and he let out a breath of relief "That'll be the chain's job" and I threw him outside. He neck broke with a satisfying crack and he sort of hung there. I walked out slowly and sent the message to Cinder that the job was done "Nine Ten, never sleep again" I said lighting the house on fire, burning all that was inside.

Small time skip

I was riding the airship back to the academy and the news reports were full of my recent job. I smiled darkly to myself and I could here something that sounded like movement ahead of me. I sat in the back of the airship and there were some people gathering. It looked like they were surrounding someone, I got up to have a closer look and this group of students that were obviously drunk as hell were harassing this faunas girl, she had silver hair, bright yellow eyes, and a pair of cat ears were easily poking out from her hair, she sat on the ground hiding her head and they were yelling at her, some stuff that even made me cringe a little bit. I tapped one's shoulder "What do you want?" the guy said his speech slurred and I elbowed him in the nose breaking it. He dropped clutching it, his friends and the girl noticed and they all looked up at me "You better back off" and two of the backed off but one stood his ground "I ain't scared of you" he said rushing me but I side stepped his punch and caught his arm with my leg. I pinned him and pulled back so I broke his shoulder. I got up and glared at the two "Get your friends and beat it" I growled at them and they scuttled off carrying their broken friends "They're gone" I said to the faunas and she looked up at me "Thank you" and I helped her stand up "You probably didn't have to be so violent" and I shrugged "Meh, violence is the only thing people respond to these days" I said and went back to my seat and the girl sat down in her seat. The ship landed and I went back to my room and my other teammates were in bed asleep. I laid down on my bed and I got a message on my scroll:
