I'm so sorry you were born in 2020 (this big crazy world) the year of COVID-19. I'm so sorry that you've not had any proper cuddles with your wider family. I'm so sorry that you can't see people smiling at you. I'm so sorry that you haven't been able to play with your cousins. I'm so sorry you see the same people day in day out. I'm so sorry that your first Christmas isn't what we expected and you've not been able to meet Santa like you're big brother did. I'm so sorry that you've not been able to go out much and do things we had planned as part of your bonding with us and your big brother as a family. I'm so sorry that back in august we really thought it would be some what different by now. I'm so sorry that you have to see us with masks on when we're leaning in the pram to try and settle you and you look at us confused. I'm so sorry you haven't been able to go to baby group to socialise with other babies. I'm so sorry that some days I don't feel strong enough to deal with all of this. But I do it for you and your big brother. I'm sorry that  I'm so sorry that we're all you know.

But I'm not sorry that you have bought us the only joy we've had all year (26/08/20) and I'm not sorry that you won't remember any of this. I really hope we get to make some real memories together next year as a family and do things with you which your brother has experienced.
2021 please be better. I can only have some sort of hope ❤️
