[Human AU!]

Yellow Circonia sighs as she trudges through the heavy rain. Her hair is a dirty blonde color now, her hoodie torn and shorts ripped. She wears no shoes and her feet are starting to freeze. But she keeps walking. She has no destination in mind right now. She just wanders.

Down the street is Blue Circonia. She wears a fuzzy blue sweater and dark blue jeans. She has a bright blue umbrella and her blue rainboots splash in puddles beneath her. She whistles happily. She is running errands for her parents.

She then turns to her phone as her mother texts her with several reminders. Mostly to keep safe. Blue smiles. Her mom worries so much.

It happens so fast, Blue couldn't tell you what exactly happened in that moment. She had looked up and bumped into a girl of yellow. Her umbrella was still in her hand, her phone in the other.

Beneath her was easily the prettiest girl she had ever seen. Never mind the torn clothes, it was something in her eyes that made her fall in love. She stands and holds out her hand to help the girl up. She easily lifts her up, which is startling because Blue isn't exactly strong.

"Hey, name's Blue Circonia. What about you?" She barely gets the question out before the girl takes off in a sprint. Blue is left bewildered and startled.

Yellow runs faster, hoping Blue won't follow her. She won't let herself drag anyone else into this twisted mess that is her life.

But there was something about that girl that made her heart beat faster. That colored her world, if only for a little bit. She held onto that hand as though she could still feel her warmth. She sighs as she keeps walking.

Blue won't give up. She chases after Yellow, her heart leading her along. She finds the girl approaching a bakery. The girl pulls the hood over her head and a dangerous glint shines in her eye.

She walks in like any normal person. Blue follows, worried about what she's up to. Yellow walks up to the register and asks for something. As the person leaves, Yellow swipes what bread she can and leaves.

She notices Blue and stops. "Hey, don't tell anyone you saw me here. Otherwise I'll have to come after you." She says with a smirk.

Blue walks alongside her. "Why did you do that? Do you think that'll help anything? What would your parents think if they knew?"

By the second question, Yellow is laughing. She turns to Blue. "Family? I have no family. I do this because I have to." Blue stares at her, not pitying her but feeling awful.

"Well...how about you stay at my place? You'll get sick out here in that." Blue offers. She really won't take no for an answer here. This girl...she has to do something.

Or her conscience will never let her live it down.

She ends up carrying Yellow home.

Yellow is given some of Blue's old clothes (I thought I was going to have to get rid of these!) and seems to really love them. She acts polite at the dinner table, but she's so hungry she stuffs herself happily.

She goes to bed with a warm heart and full stomach. That's a first, she thinks with a smile. Blue sleeps next to her.

Yellow smirks to herself.
"Hey Blue, I'm freezing." She barely finishes her sentence before Blue throws her arms around her, holding her in a warm embrace.

Yellow drifts off to sleep, Blue's arms around her.
"Thank you, Blue."

Before, I was not sure if I believed in angels, but tonight, I'm certain they're real. I've met one.
