When I created this cover I wanted the main character to stand out from the background, showing off that there was something special about her.

The book is based on the life of a girl who can talk to ghosts and travel between our world and that of the dead. So the graveyard (background), I thought tied in nicely to the theme since it was the opening scene in the book.
