Lost | Reader X Jordan
"Well, fuck," I mumbled noticing the repeat of the street signs. "Sixth street again." I sighed. I'm super lost.
I glanced through the windows and decided to go to the grocery store that was a few left turns away. Surely someone there could give me directions.
"This whole state is so confusing," I grumbled to myself. "Fuck Colorado."
When I was finally parked in the lot just outside of the store, I pulled my keys from the ignition and whined, "I just wanna sleep! Why can't I find my goddamn hotel?" I sighed and forced myself into the store. People were terrible, but not having a nice bed to sleep in was worse.
Once inside the store, glares seemed to hit me from every angle; closing time was apparently quite soon and none of the employees were too impressed with my sudden entrance. I shrank back at this reaction and nervously scanned the aisles for someone who looked approachable. Maybe a mother with cute kids or an elderly couple.
In my wide eyed search, however, someone found me. Someone I'd have never approached by my own accord. A man, much taller than myself, who looked strong and carried himself confidently. His brown hair poked out from under a red baseball cap and a scruffy beard covered his chin. He was very attractive to say the least.
"Hey, you alright?" he mumbled, his voice sweet and gentle.
"Hm?" I asked, having missed what he had said. When I turned to face him fully, his bright green eyes pierced through me.
"I asked if you were alright," he explained. "You look a bit confused and, uh, scared."
"Oh, um," I began, my voice quavering as I was still intimidated by the man. "I'm actually just looking for someone to ask about directions. I'm awfully lost."
"I don't think I can really help you out," he said, "I'm quite lost myself." He paused for a second and his cheeks grew pink. "I-in your eyes that is. They're mesmerizing." He leaned down slightly and brought his face closer to mine. His eyes glimmered as he stared into mine.
"O-oh," I mumbled, my heart beginning to pound and my cheeks burning.
"I'm sorry," he said, leaning away and rubbing the back of his neck. "That was stupid." He sighed. "Name's Jordan, by the way."
"No, Jordan," I said, dragging out his name, "It was fine. Nice actually." I turned away slightly and shrugged my shoulders up.
"Oh," he said, before clearing his throat. "W-well, I suppose I can help you out with those directions."
"Oh, yeah," I said, remembering my previous motives. I then proceeded to ask about the whereabouts of my hotel to which Jordan supplied a fairly simple set of instructions.
"Thank you!" I said, after figuring out where I was headed next.
"Yeah, no problem," he said, smiling brightly at me. "Oh," he interjected quickly, "And one more thing." He set about searching through his pockets before pulling out an old receipt.
"Do, uh, do you have a pen?" he asked sheepishly. I nodded and pulled one out of my purse. "Perfect," he said before scribbling down a string of numbers on the back of the paper. He then handed it to me with an awkward grin.
"Y-you should call me sometime," he said, much of his previous confidence fading, "I'd, uh, really like to get to know you better."
"Can do," I said smiling. He smiled back.
Then, unable to stop myself, I leaned in close to him and pulled him into a hug. He quickly hugged back and was extremely reluctant to finally pull away.
"See you around maybe?" he asked, following me out the front door, even though he hadn't actually made his purchase yet.
"I sure hope so," I said, winking at him.
He smiled back goofily and waved as I got into my car. I giggled and waved back as I started the car.
I happily went on my way and soon found the hotel. When I was finally in my room, I pulled out the piece of paper with Jordan's number on the back. I smiled and put it into my contacts.
I yawned. I was definitely still tired. I soon curled up in my bed and let all of my fantasies put me into a peaceful slumber.

A/N: whoops. Idk what this was really... Honestly, it was mostly stress-relief for me. I've not been doing that well as of late. (๑'﹃`๑ )
I was gonna write some sweet nothings about Seamus, but couldn't bring myself to do it right now. He'll probably be in a lot of my stuff still, though.
Happy New Year, as well!
Excuse my ramblings~
But I love you all and hope you enjoyed!
