that's what you said, right?
or at least that's what i wanted to hear from you.

i love you.

that's what i wanted to tell you that day.
but all of a sudden you kept me at bay.

i love you.

these three words made my heart skip a beat.
did you feel it too?

i love you.

there was a moment of silence.
and i almost forgot how to breathe.

yet

if those three words were just the sweetest...

this reality isn't.

i love you.

but

you were gone.
