I observed the bird people surrounding us, then turned my gaze to Cupid's face. His eyes were captivating. He stood in deep thought, appearing to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders. It seemed as though Cupid was on the verge of saying something, but then he hesitated, shaking his head, his hair tousled in all directions.

Then, finally, after what felt like forever, he spoke in a big, booming voice. "Hey, council members, my choice is that I want to be with Amelia forever and ever if she will have me. I have been your lapdog for almost an eternity, helping and watching thousands and thousands of couples fall in love, and I believe that it should be my turn." Cupid grabbed both my hands and stared straight into my eyes; I thought for a second that he was trying to stare straight into my soul. I thought he was going to pull away, but then I felt him drag my face almost inches from him. "So will you have me?" he smiled. I planted a small kiss on the side of his face, and he frowned. "Yes, I will. " I whispered back to him. Then he did a massive goofy smile; I thought for a second it almost took his entire face. "Ahem," said Clover, who was standing near us. "If that is your choice", he shrugged his shoulders. Then Clover pulled an almost metallic object from his pocket and frowned at it for a second; he then slowly started to move it with his dainty fingers. He then clicked the end of it, and then suddenly Cupid fell straight to the floor.
