(A/N) This is a poem Quisy wrote to help him feel better about the death of his mother.

I had a talk with death today and it wanted me to tell you that it is not the dark vile enemy nor is it the end. Instead, it wanted me to share that it is the beginning of eternal life. It asked that I that shed light onto it's darken reputation so that it is no longer feared but understood. I asked death why are we so afraid of it, why do we value living so much that we've come to defy dying. Death said, "it is because we fear that dying will mean we are no longer but a forgotten corpse while life continues. That what many do not understand that without it there cannot be life and just as there cannot death without life. That we hold onto the false pretenses of the physical living whilst disregarding the spiritual life."

So I asked death, does that mean dying doesn't determine which path the of spiritual route we'll take. Death responded and said "it does not know nor determines which path a spirit will take only that it will grant them their eternal essence to finally live." Death shared that the mind of man has changed over the centuries, masking it as something to be sadden by where it should be celebrated just as a child born into the world. Death ended our conversation with this, "I can assure you I will come for each of you fear not but how I come sadly that is up to how you live." Today I had a talk with death and now I can say I'm no longer fearful of it but overstand it. Death doesn't take life but continues it, to live out in the spiritual realms.

Every time I recite this poem it gives me peace knowing my mother has found peace even more so now with everything that's going on. See, I know all about my family's background although it was against my grandmother’s wishes, Mir too, since his parents worked for the company as well. My mother taught me more than just how to fight she also told me about the work she and momma Joe do. When my father left I wonder if that had anything to do with it however, my mom never confirmed or denied it but hearing about his drug life that really has me confused. I asked Mir to take me to momma Joe’s so we can talk to her face to face to get more answers. I need to know how my mother could deal with someone who is a supposed drug lord. I needed to get away from the others for a moment because Cut and Mal don't know about momma Joe and I don't want to drag them deeper into this mess. Ny on the other hand knows, she thinks I'm ignorant to who she is but if she thinks I'm a let someone step to my bro without doing a thorough background checks she's sadly mistaken. I'm just surprised she's willing to feed me bull shit about my father being a drug lord whilst withholding whatever it is momma Joe told her not to say. More importantly, I need to know where I've seen that Ramón guy from, he looks way too familiar. Shit if I'm being honest he looks like a younger version of my pops and an older version of myself.

Aye bro I think it’s best I call your dad. I know how you feel about him and what he stands for but I really need someone on the inside who's on our side to help us out. Quisy said to Mir.

Quisy call your godparents they'll know what to do I don't want to bother that man and his perfect life. Mir replied.

Well technically that would be your pops stupid and besides uncle Leonard eyes creep me out, it’s like there's no life in them. Also, you know I don't think Auntie Mary likes me like that. Quisy said.

Iight well we’ll see what momma Joe saying if you're still not satisfied then we'll call all of them. Mir replied.

Oh you know Ny work for momma Joe. I found out after Mal introduced us but I didn't want to say anything because I figured it was just momma Joe being careful about us. But since all this events been happening in thinking her caution has a big reason behind it. Quisy said.

Yeah I know. I ran her name too. Mir replied as they pulled up to momma Joe’s house.

As the two made their way inside the house they were unaware of the newly welcomed guest.  Searching around the place they soon decided to give momma Joe a call to see where she could be. Not that her absence was abnormal but there was this eerie feeling that something was out of place.

Yo she's not answering and I called her three times now. Mir stated.

Fuck! Okay well call your pops and I'll call uncle Leonard. Quisy said.

Nah you call my pops and I'll call Auntie Mary, I fucked with her more than Uncle Leonard anyway. Mir replied.

Or how about you don't and I just kill you instead. Ramón said after making his presence known.

How the fuck did you get in here and where is my grandmother? Quisy asked.

The old coot gave me access after releasing me. So tell me how is it you know my parents and ready to call them when they're both dead. Ramón replied.

Released you? How did that happen exactly? Mir asked.

Well let’s just say she's a tough old coot. Now tell how were you going to contact my dead parents. Ramón replied.

Who the fuck are you, they're not dead and they don't have any children. The fuck wrong with you. Quisy said.

To prove you wrong I'm a call them now. Mir stated.

Phone rings…..

Hello. Mary answered.

Hey Auntie Mary it’s Mir I was calling to see if you've heard from momma Joe today, I stopped by her house but she wasn't home nor answering her phone? Mir asked.

Oh no sweetie I haven't, you know how she gets around I'll try to call her myself and get back to you. Mary replied.

Okay thanks and when you and Uncle Leonard going to stop playing and give the kid your beach house for a birthday gift you know I'm like your child. Mir stated jokingly.

Boy you're a trip, thank we have no kids because they'll be spoiled like you and that Quisy. What can I say we have none so we make up for it through you two. Mary replied laughing.

I hear that. Well iight auntie let me know if you reach her. Love you and Unc. Mir said.

Okay sweetie, love you too. Mary replied as she hung up.

See, now tell us what the fuck happened. Quisy said.

They can't be the same people but she's sounded just like my mother. Ramón said.

She said my mother is dead but not the woman in the photo. Was this the woman you were speaking too? Ramón asked showing Quisy and Mir a family photo.

Are you seeing this? Quisy asked Mir.

I do believe I am. Mir replied.

Why are you in this photo? Quisy and Mir asked.

As I told you they're my parents. Ramón replied.

Can't be, we've been to their house on multiple occasions and you were never insight or any photos. Quisy said.

I was sent to an elite boarding school and mom said she didn't like pictures hanging around the house because it allows people to see your weak points. Ramón replied.

So the old bat was right which means they're not my parents either. But she said my mother is dead but not the woman in this photo. Ramón stated showing them the photo of Mir’s mother.

Oh no. Quisy said recognizing the woman.

Let me see. Mir stated.

I can't do that Mir. Quisy replied.

Give me the damn picture man. Mir said taking the picture from Quisy.

Nah this ain't her she died from cancer burn that shit. Mir said.

No you're not, you're going to leave and go back to your lives. Momma Joe stated out of nowhere.

I knew your mother taught you more than she led on I just knew it. Mir I'm sorry you had to find out that way but understand you were a child and I wasn’t going to tell you what really happened. You're grown now and I see you both know more than I thought so listen up. Ramón that box next you go in there and get that photo album out. Mir, baby I need you to let it out, all four of us know the pain of losing a parent to violence. I watched as my father was hung and burned all for standing stall and strong. Quisy your mother died protecting her family, the ultimate sacrifice a mother can make. Same with your mother Mir, she was attacked and she fought tooth to nail to kill the bastard before he could kill her because you were there in the next room. Give me a hug baby, I know it hurts but this is the pain I wished you'd never have to feel and if I could I'd bare this hurt for all of you. Ramón I want you to look at that first picture and tell me what you see. Momma Joe stated.

I see that woman and him. Ramón said looking at Quisy.

Fool that's not him, he's in the picture next to that one. That's you. Momma Joe stated.

Hold up, I thought you looked familiar. Quisy asked.

You’re brothers, my daughter that you killed is your mother. That's the only reason why you're still breathing and she's not. Momma Joe said.

You killed our moms. Mir said.

No no no no! This can't be right, Mary and Leonard Jacob are my parents. Ramón replied.

Child they stole you, that was the first and last time your mother held you as a baby. Which is why she laid down her life for you because even with time a part just knowing you are her son was enough for her to make such sacrifice. The man you're assigned to hunt down is your father, Roberto Javier Sanchez. This here is your little brother Quisy. Momma Joe stated.

Now you two go back to your lives and whatever you do don't contact anyone you hear me. I love you both so much and I want you to stay strong for yourselves and each other. Ramon go black lose all communication with any and everybody. You're the biggest victim because it all stated with you. Momma Joe said to Quisy and Mir.

I'm a kill those bastards. Ramón grunted.

Why is Mary calling me, she must know her death is almost near, talk about being prepared. Momma Joe stated while ignoring the call.

We called her to see if she's heard from you because we were worried. Quisy said.

Well if she calls you tell her you got me and that everything is fine. Momma Joe instructed.

Boys Ny will be checking in with me so don't get stupid. You may have the skills but you lack the experience and that along well get you killed. I'm going send out a message through the back channels so your fathers know what's going on. Ramón before you go you're going to clean this mess up, I don't keep a nasty house and you're going to tell me who specifically assigned you this mission. Momma Joe stated.

Please be safe and we will too. Just know you and I will have our day and unlike my mother my love for you doesn't run deep. Quisy said to Ramón.

And I’m a be there to bury you. Mir finished off as he and Quisy headed out.

You know we're not really leaving right? Quisy asked Mir.

Oh definitely bro. Mir replied.

Get this mess up now, I'm going to send the message. Momma Joe stated.

Good because I'd like to meet this father of mine. Ramón replied.

I'm sure baby. Momma Joe stated.
