Jordan POV

  "You ready to go sis?" I asked Mariah as I grabbed my keys and the bag I packed for me and Alex. What? I'm getting a shower before we leave. That drive back is gonna kill me. "Yeah let's go." she said walking own the stairs. "Took you long enough." I said as we walked out the door. "Shut up stupid." she said slapping me in the back of my head. "I got some aggressive ass siblings. Always hitting me and shit. Like damn can I get a hug or something for once?" I said as we got in the car. "Boy shut yo dramatic ass up. You should be an actor for that fake ass performance" she said making us both laugh. It's just me and Riah on this trip. We haven't told anyone else about him being safe and alive for the moment because we still have to get him out of harms way. Plus he's gonna need to go to the hospital to check for any may bruising or fractures. We're gonna take him to one out of the city. 

  If you're wondering why we don't take him to a hospital down there, it's because clearly they know that area really well if they hid him down there and it's only a matter of time before they go out and search for him again. Especially when they learn that he got away, so we have to hurry our asses up and get him before that can even happen. "He really escaped! I can't believe it!" I said to Mariah as I was driving. "Me either. I'm just so happy to hear that he's alive. Lord knows what I would've done if he wasn't." she said. "You wasn't gonna do shit." I said laughing. "Nigga you lucky we in this car and my life is in your hands at the moment. Wait until we get out this car nigga." she said as she played a game on her phone. "I hope you lose." I said glancing over at here. As soon as I said that, she lost. "Yup. Imma beat yo ass." she said restarting the game. 

  Good thing he called me back and gave me his exact location so we don't have to search the whole city looking for him. Hold on Alex, we're coming to get you.  

Mr.Johnson POV

   "Ready for our daily fun?" I asked my baby, kissing her hand. "Fuck yeah." she said excitedly. Why do we do the things we do to our son you ask? It's none of your fucking business. We got in the car and headed to our location to play with our good ole son. "Let's begin shall we?" I said as I opened the door. As soon as I opened the door, I was shot with two tasers. "Fuck!" I yelled, falling to the floor. "Baby what's wrong?" my wife asked while I was temporarily immobilized due to the double dose of electric shock my body was receiving. The longer she stood there, the longer the tase was going on. "T-t-t-t-t turn th-a-a-a-at s-h-h-h-h-hit o-f-f-f-f-ff!" I finally manged to get out. She spent the next two minutes trailing the lines. "I can't it's jammed!"she yelled. Man if she don't break this shit.

  "B-r-r-r-r-r-r-eak i-t-t-t-t. Shit!" After about 15 minutes of her attempting to break the tasers, she finally did. "That little bastard escaped!" she yelled. So he managed to get away huh? So I'm guessing this was his little parting gift then. "We gotta find him! I didn't say play time was over!" she added. After struggling to regain my strength, I finally manged to stand. "Don't worry baby we will. Help me get to the car so we can start our search." I said struggling to walk. Ready or not, here we come kid. This time, you might not make out alive.

The Next Day

Alexander POV

  I woke up this morning feeling extra happy! I'm going home my nigga! I wasn't about to break out in happy dance or anything because I'm in a lot of pain right now. I didn't feel anything due to the adrenaline rush I was subconsciously going through. I finally get to see my brother and sister as well as Sage and Aurora too.  David, although we really aren't on the best of terms, I'll be happy to see him as well. I have to at least make things right with him you know? I just really feel like I'm not ready for a relationship right now, at least that's what I think. It's like when me and him are together, everything just feels right, like nothing else matters. I always feel even more happy and safe when I'm with him versus when I'm just by myself.

  I guess the laws of attraction are real huh? Sometimes we don't know we're in love with someone until that person is gone. Before I could get any deeper into my thoughts, I was disturbed by a knock on my door. "Sweetie are you up? I brought you some breakfast." Ms.Mary said on the other side of the door.  I got up out of the bed and looked through the peephole before opening the door. "Good morning Ms.Mary. Thank you so much." I said taking the bag from her. "My pleasure dear. I hope you slept well. I would love to stay and chat but we're a bit booked this good morning plus I still have to keep a lookout for those people." she said. "I really can't thank you enough for all that you're doing. I really appreciate it." I said hugging her. "No problem baby. Now eat your breakfast and pray your sibling come before they do." she said walking down the hall. 

  I wasted no time going to town on that food. Of course I had to ease myself into the first bite because all my body was used to was saltine crackers and water. That's all I was fed these last two months. I'm surprised they even fed me, they usually don't. After I finished eating, the phone rang. One of the good things about this hotel is the fact that the number shows up on the TV screen as well, so you always know who's calling. "Yes Jordan. Please tell me you're here." I said answering the phone.  "Actually I am. We're pulling in now. You ready to go?" he said surprising me. I was playing when I said that, I didn't expect him to be here this soon. "Uh no. I didn't expect you to be here so soon." I said. " It's cool I'll pack for you. We're walking in now." he said as I heard Ms. Mary greet them. "They're cool! Ms.M!" I yelled through the phone as she granted them access.

  Jordan must've ran his ass upstairs because two seconds later, I heard him knocking at my door. "Let's go baby bro." he said as I opened the door. In one swift motion he began to pack my things, handed the bag to Mariah and carry me out of the room.  Mariah did a double check to make sure I didn't forget anything before grabbing the key and leaving out behind us. "I know you're tired of hearing me say this but I can't thank you enough." I said to her as Jordan was practically running out the damn building. She smiled "Oh it was my pleasure. Be safe baby!" she waved. Mariah handed her the key, thanked God for people like her and caught up with us. 

  "We're out of here." Jordan said starting the car and driving back on the express way.

2 Hours Later

Mr.Johnson POV

 "We've looked everywhere and no one has seen him. For all we know he could be in a different state by now." my baby said pouting. I doubt it baby. He has, no phone nor money and he looks like one of the bums on the street, I doubt people are gonna want to help him." I said reassuring her. "I guess we could take a quick break here before heading back home." I said pulling in a Motel 6. "Hello we would like a room." I said to the woman who name tag read Mary. "Sure thing. How long do you plan on staying?" she asked. "Just for about 4 hours." I said. "I can ring that up as one night. Would that be a problem for you sir?" she asked. "No that's fine. We are not in any rush." I said smiling to here. "OK great. You're room number is 121. I hope you enjoy you're stay." She said smiling. 

  "Thank you. Hey ma'am you haven't a kid about 5'7, caramel tone, hazel eyes,  kinda dirty clothes around here by any chance have you?" I asked her. "I'm sorry sir but no one by that description has been here." she said giving me an apologetic look. "It's OK. Thanks for your help though." I said as we left to go to our room. "He may have gotten away but he can't be far. For now, lets make another baby." I said grabbing her. "Daddy you so nasty." she giggled.

Alexander POV

  "So how did you get away?" Jordan asked, keeping his eyes on the road. "Yeah I want to know too lil bro." Mariah said turning around in her seat. "Jordan lets just say those day when we used to play cops and robbers came in handy." I said to him. "They used zip ties?" he asked. "Yes they alternated on what restraints they wanted to use. It was either rope, handcuffs, chains or the zip ties. I had to wait and try to figure out their schedule so I knew when exactly I was gonna break out of there. They only used the zip ties these past few days because the cuffs were cutting into my wrist and they didn't want to leave bruises there. Weird yes I know. I remembered how we use to play that game an you showing me how to break free off these and I applied it to my current situation. My feet were a bit difficult seeing as though they tied them with the rough kind of rope. 

  "Luckily for me,  our dumbass of a mother left a box full of tasers next to me. So I used a few of them to help burn the rope and get out of there. I left them a little parting gift though. I think they got it by now though." I finished smiling mischievously. "Woooow!" Jordan said. Mariah looked at me with admiration and surprise. "It's gonna take more then that to get rid of me. If y'all wondering how I made it to the motel 6, I'll explain that too. I was running, ducking and dodging areas of light when I stumbled across this field. I decided to run through it seeing as though it was definitely beneficial to me at the time. When I exited the field, I noticed that I was near and expressway. I looked around and saw a motel 6 sign and decided to try my luck. I begged and pleaded woth the clerk to let me stay there and to my surprise, she agreed.

  "She told me that the she could only let me stay there for three days and after that, there was nothing more she could do. That's when I called you and now we're here." I finished. "When you say you left them a surprise, what do you mean?" Jordan asked. "Let's just say one of them is getting a tase of their medicine, double dose in fact." I answered. "I'm so glad to have you back baby bro! We were starting to think that you may not be coming to us. Me and Jordan cried every night for you." Mariah said tearing up. You could hear Jordan sniffling too as she said that. "Hey! Hey! Don't cry. I'm here now. I can't leave you guys just yet. I haven't gotten on your nerves like that. Plus we still have so many things to do and holidays to celebrate together." I said grabbing her hand and Jordan's shoulder. 

  "You're right kiddo. We have a lot to do." Mariah said as Jordan agreed. "I just can't wait to get back home." I said leaning back into my seat. "Um about that, we aren't going home just yet." she said. "You said what now?" I asked, sitting back up. "Alex, we're gonna take you to a hospital outside of the city so you can recover. We can't afford to take you to one in the city because we know that they will search and find you. Plus we need to know how serious your injuries may be and give you time to heal" she explained. "Well when you say all of that, I really can't argue with you. Wake me up when we get there then. I'm tired so I'm gonna take a nap." I said as I made myself comfortable and drifted off to sleep.

 Jordan POV      

  "He has some moderate bruising on his wrist, 5 cracked ribs, and a slight concussion. They bruises on his face are not that severe and should heal quickly. It also looks like his heart has taken a lot of electrical shocks to it, so we would like to run a few test, just to make sure he's OK He's lucky to be alive because the cracked ribs were all around major organs. Any more force and they could've punctured one of them." the doctor explained to us. Damn it Alex. It's a good thing you left when you did because you might now have even made it. I know he told us to wake him up when we got here but I decided to let him sleep and carry him in. "So how long will it take him to fully heal?" Mariah asked. "3-6 weeks. By looking at him, I could tell he's a fighter so I'll say 3 1/2 weeks." he said. 

  "Thank you so much doctor. I really appreciate it." I said giving him a firm handshake and returning to Alex's room. "We have to kill them. If we don't, they'll kill him." Mariah said. "I know. It's clear that Alex won't do it because deep down inside, he hopes that there is still some humanity in them. Either that or he just doesn't wanna get blood on his hands. "The second choice is correct. I thought I told you to wake me up when we got here?" he said scaring the fuck outta me. "You were sleeping so peacefully that I didn't wanna disturb you." I said with my hands up. "Whatever. So how long will I be in here for?" he asked. "Three and a half weeks." I said to him. "Damn. It could be worse so I'm not really complaining. Plus I have you two" he said smiling. "You are right about that." Mariah said getting in the bed with him. "We're not going anywhere." I said jumping in the bed with them. "Why would you get your husky ass in this bed? Trynna kill us and shit with your incredible hulk built ass." Mariah said making all of us laugh. I love these two assholes.

Three And A Half Weeks Later 

Alexander POV

  I so happy I get to go home today! I was tired of doing therapy every day. Plus I missed my bed and of course my friends. As Jordan signed my release papers, I thanked everyone who helped me. To think that might ribs might have actually punctured something if they were hit again low key scared me. I have to end this. "You ready to go buddy?" Jordan asked. I nodded my head and we walked to his car. They have never left my side to be honest. "When can I go back to school?" I asked them. "Tomorrow if you want. Didn't think that you wanted to go back so soon." Mariah said. "I low key miss it and want to at least attempt to graduate on time this year. We only have about 3 months left so I wanna try to do as much as I can." I said to her. "Sage and Aurora have been doing your work so you aren't behind if that's what your worried about." Jordan said driving. I definitely have to thank that from the bottom of my heart tomorrow. 

  "I should've known they were gonna do that. Well let's just get home so I can meet my bed." I said as Jordan drove. After about a half hour, we finally made it home. "I missed this place so much." I said as waited for Mariah to open the door. "Welcome home again baby boy." she said opening the door. I ran inside, straight to my room. It was the same as I left it. I looked on my table and saw my phone sitting there. I must've dropped it that night. I picked it up and saw that I had a ton of notifications. I'll check them when I get out of the shower. Once is finished my shower, I went back to my phone. I saw a lot of missed calls from Jordan and them. I also had some text messages from them as well. One that stood out to me was David's message. It read: "I keep texting and calling this phone hoping that you'll pick up, even though I know you don't have this phone on you. I'm missing you so much and praying everyday for your return. Come back to me baby." 

  I highkey teared up after reading that. "Are you OK Lex?" Jordan said walking in my room. "Yea I'm fine. Just a little emotional that's all." I said. "Well get some rest. You have people to see tomorrow." he smiled as he walked out the room. 

Finally finished. Was gonna keep going but decided to split the chapters.

Ms.Mary came through in the clutch.

Alex is finally home!
