Alexander POV

  I woke up the next morning seemly unharmed. Good because I know round two would've definitely been worse. For them that is. I got up, went into my bathroom an got ready for today. It looks like today will be the day I finally tell my friends the truth. Although I'm a little ashamed that I waited this long to say anything, better late then never right. I let out a breath and finished getting ready for school. I grabbed all of my things I deemed valuable (which wasn't much seeing as though Sage and  Aurora had most of my things anyway). I moved my dresser and opened my door. So far so good, no one tried to attack me just yet. As soon as I got to the door, my dad tried to punch me in my face but I unknowingly dodged right before he could make contact with my face. "Fuck!" he screamed, while I laughed.

   "Gotta be quicker then that. Have a good day sir." I said as I walked out the door and headed to school. I texted Aurora and told her where to come pick me up. I was a little bit afraid to see Sage at the moment. I knew I would have to prepare myself soon because today was the day I would have to tell Sage and Aurora everything, especially Sage. "You alright kid?" Aurora asked me. I nodded my head yeah and turned to look out the window. It was a beautiful morning and I kinda wish it stays that way. When we pulled up to school, I took a deep breath and prepared myself for the barrage of questions and emotions that I'll soon be hit with. "Ready to get the day started?" I asked Aurora smiling. "Yep let's do it partner!" she said as she grabbed my hand and walked into school.

  As soon as we walked in, we saw Sage standing by our lockers."Good morning baby girl." both me and Aurora said smiling as we hugged her. "Good morning babies. We need to talk." she said looking at me. I low key froze up but then slightly regained my composure. "Uh, sure how about at lunch?" I asked hoping she would take the offer. "No, third period." she said sternly. "What did I miss?" Aurora said with a confused facial expression. "You and I will find out third period. Now let's get this day started shall we?" Sage said leading us to our first period class. This is gonna be a long day. 

Later That Day

  When the third period bell rung, I saw both Sage and Aurora waiting for me by my classroom door. "We're going to the football field. We're skipping a class, getting lunch and coming right back here." Sage said as we were walking outside, basically laying out the schedule for us. Once we got to the field, she took out a blanket and laid it out and told us to sit. "Now begin Alex." she said. "Ok. You guys, I........um.....I don't know how to put this nicely so here it is. I've been getting abused by my parents for the past 6 years. Those marks and black eyes that you see with come from them. I have also been raped by the both of them for the same amount of time as well. I didn't want to tell either of you because I didn't want you two to get hurt nor be burdened with my problems." I finished with tears in my eyes. 

  They both looked at me with tears in their eyes, struggling to get proper sentences formed. "Alex...." was all Aurora managed to get out. "So that's why you wanted me and Ror to hold your things. I thought you just wanted us to hold them so nobody would steal them, although in the back of my mind, I thought it was something else like you moving out but this makes so much since." Sage said as I nodded my head. "I didn't want them to know I had any of that because they probably would've destroyed it and cleaned out my bank account." I said. You can't stay there Alex! I won't stand for it! I'll be damned if I let you go back there!" Sage said seething with rage. "I have no where else to go! My parents distanced themselves from the family the day my brother left, which was about 7 years ago." I said sadly.

  "That's bullshit!" they both yelled at me. "You could stay with either one of us. You're over our house almost everyday as is anyway, plus our parents consider you part of our family anyway. You could've came to us Alex!" Aurora sad crying even harder. "I should've. I was and still am so scared y'all. I really am." I said with a tear falling down. "So that night when you accidentally called me, what happened? I already know most of it but I want to hear you tell me." Sage said pulling out tissue and putting it in the middle of the 3 of us. "Well right after I left you and walked into the house, my dad punched me in the face. I decided that I wasn't gonna take it anymore and cracked him with the handle of an umbrella. As I was beating his ass, my mom decided to jump in and try to tase me" I lifted my shirt to show them the marks the taser left from before. "Oh my god!" they both said as their eyes widen in shock and they covered their mouths. 

  "So when she tried to do it again, I moved out of the way, making her trip and tase my dad instead. Me and him continued fight and when I saw that she tried to jump in it again, I kicked her ass in a corner somewhere to let her know to stay out of it. I knocked my dad out and grabbed my stuff, heading upstairs. That's when I realized that I accidentally was still on the phone with you Sage. I knew that I would no choice but to explain now since you kinda got a glimpse of what I go through everyday." I said finishing the story and crying harder then before. "I'll die before I ever let you set foot back into that hell hole!" Sage said now 100% pissed. "I really wished you would've told us sooner Al." Aurora said, her voice filled with sadness. Sage pulled out her phone and called her parents. "Hey mom, dad. Can Alex stay with us? He cannot by any means go back home. We'll talk more later." she said.

  I guess they said yes because she gave me a thumbs up and ended the call. "When we get out of here, we're going to get the little things you have left and we're getting you out of there today!" Sage said. I didn't have anything to say nor could I find the words to say anything so I just nodded my head. "Enough of this sappy stuff. What time is it?" I asked, trying to change the subject. "You not slick but it's time for lunch so let's go." Aurora said. "Hold up. Here you go. Wipe y'all face. look like we was crying for 67 years. Face looking ashier then the statue of liberty." Sage said making us laugh. They took a few more minutes to apply the little make up that had gotten ruined then we were off to lunch. We smiled and joked on our way to the cafeteria and I like a tremendous weight lift off of my shoulders. "They finally know the truth." I said aloud as they both gave me a hug. 

  When we made it to the lunchroom, David walked up to us. "Hey Alex, I'm failing Spanish and  biology and I was recommended by both teachers to ask you to be my tutor. Can you help a nigga out?" he asked. "I'm sorry David but now isn't the right time. Maybe you could find someone else to help you?" I said. I really wasn't in the tutoring mood. "Nah I was told you're the top student in both classes, so you're the one I want to tutor me. You don't have to give me an immediate answer. Take your time. Nice seeing you too ladies." he winked to them as he walked away. Yup he's one of those. "Come on I'm hungry." Sage said pulling me to the line, ignoring what happened earlier. We got our food and carried on with some more jokes to help brighten the mood.

 End Of The Day       

  "Let's go bring you home." Sage said. I noticed Aurora sitting in the front seat, so I got in the back. When we pulled up to my house, both Sage and Aurora got out of the car. "Oh you thought we was gonna let you go by yourself? That's dead." Sage said as both if them applied some Vaseline to their faces. I also noticed that they were in fighting clothes too. I guess they are ready. I threw my book bag back in the car and proceeded in the house first, waiting for that swing. Right on time, as soon as I opened the door, my dad tried to swing but I was already crouched down when I opened it. I hit his ass with an uppercut as Sage and Aurora rushed in behind me. Like always, my mom came out of nowhere but Sage tagged her ass. "Aurora go upstairs and get everything that's mine! We'll hold them off" I yelled as she ran upstairs to my room. I hope she know which one is mine. "You think you going somewhere?" my dad said as he tried to aim for my face again. 

  I dodge and punched his ass in the stomach. I then three pieced his ass as he fell to the ground. "This *kick* is *kick* for *punch* all *kick* of *punch* you*punch* caused *slam* me!" I yelled in between hits. After that last slam, he was out cold. I turned around to see Sage putting my mom in a sleeper hold (she's good at that due to having a brother) and putting her ass to sleep. We both ran upstairs to help get the rest of the thing, thankfully it wasn't much since Aurora basically had everything. We all ran out the door the door towards the start of a hopefully new and positive chapter of my life.

 I owe y'all a lot huh lol?
