Abby's pov:

"C'mon girls lets go! It's the beginning of the season and your probably all rusty from not dancing!!"

"I'm so excited for this season. The aldc are national title holders and we're coming out bigger and better than ever!"

Maddie's pov:

Abby was acting strange.. Almost too strange... she was being nice. She's probably hoping to start off with a clean sweep with everyone since its the new season.

Mackenzie's pov:

I bet Abby is happy that Maddie won her national title before the end of the season!

Abby's pov:

"Okay girls, time for pyramid. At the bottom; Paige, Brooke, Nia, and" -

"Uh... Abby?" Holly cut me off. "Why is there 5 slots on the bottom of the pyramid?" "I'll get to that later, Holly." I said.

"Anyways, oh yes. Paige, Brooke, Nia, and Asia. I will get to the 5th slot later."

"Moving on, middle: Chloe, Mackenzie, and Kendall. And now, at the top of the pyramid," I said with a dramatic affect and a big smile, "our winning national champion, Maddie!!!"

"Alright. I see all of you are excited to know about the 5th slot on the bottom of the pyramid. It's there because..."
