Kristi Ray's pov:

"Okay moms I'm just going to talk to Abby about something. Be back soon!" "What are you talking to her about?" Kelly asked me. "Oh, none of your concern. Bye ladies!" "Byeeee." The moms all said at once.

Kelly's pov:

I find it odd that Kristi Ray doesn't tell me what she's telling Abby... I know Kristi and she normally doesn't hide secrets. I bet it's nothing.

Abby's pov:

Kristi approaches me. "Yes?" I ask her. "I'm sorry to interrupt the class but I'd just like to tell you that after 4 weeks Asia will be officially done with being a competitive dancer on this team. I'm sorry Abby. She just has better opportunities."

I'm astonished!

"Oh... That's too bad.. Well at least we have Emma!"

All of a sudden Kendall cuts into our conversation. "Emma's replacing Asia??" "In 4 weeks, Kendall. Now, get back to rehearsal!!!" I say to her.

15 minutes later I call down the moms and dancers to give information about this weeks competition. "Alright everyone, this week we are traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, and the rotten apples will be there." "Atlanta? My good friend lives there!" Emma chimes in. "How nice, Emma!!"

"Remember, Maddie, and Asia, your solos have to be flawless because I heard Zack will be doing a solo, too."

Out of the corner of my eye I see Chloe raise her hand and her mother have a shocked look on her face. "Oh, that reminds me, Chloe, I'm sorry but I'm taking away your solo. Don't ask why."

Emma's pov:

It's the end of class and right now I'm talking to my mom. "Atlanta, eh? What's your friends name again? Is it Channing? Carl?"

"No mom. It's Chandler. And.. I've overheard that at competitions they normally have 4 routines planned... and now that Chloe isn't doing one maybe I could ask Abby to do one to prove I'm good enough?" I say to my mom with a smirk. "Great idea Emma! Go ask her when everyone's out of studio A." My mom tells me.

Shari's pov:

I'm astonished at what great of a idea Emma had!!! I overheard that Kristi Ray and Asia are leaving aldc soon. Which is great! -Well, for me and Emma. I'm really hoping Emma gets that solo!

Abby's pov:

Just as I grab my purse and am ready to head home, sweet little Emma comes over to me to ask me something.

"Hey Abby!" "Hello Emma!" "So... I overheard from the girls that normally at competitions we usually have 4 routines, and now that Chloe isn't doing one, (I know, don't ask,) I was wondering... maybe if....." "Yes!!!!" I say excitedly. "But you don't even know what I was going to say!" "Well, I thought you were going to ask to have a solo.." "OMG! That IS what I was going to ask!!"
