Chapter Two
Michaela stared at the letter that lay in front of her, her acceptance letter from Hogwarts. She had received it a week prior but she had not opened it. She was scared what it could mean. As much as she hated the awkwardness that lay between her and her parents, being with other children again would be even more awkward as last time she interacted with other children, she ended up murdering them all.
"Are you going to open it," Annabeth questioned
"No" Michaela answered "I've told you over and over again, I'm not going to Hogwarts"
"Yes you are" Annabeth insisted "You'll have a chance to make friends, don't you want friends?"
"I think you know the answer to that," Michaela replied
Annabeth sighed, "You're not trying to get better, just stop thinking about it"
Michaela grew angry so before she did something that she regretted she went upstairs, leaving her mother alone.
Michaela flopped onto her bed and let a loud scream into her pillow. Ever since that awful day, she was left with a life full of misery and parents that tip toed around her, afraid that the slightest thing would set of their young daughter.
Maybe going to Hogwarts wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, Michaela thought to herself. At least she would be able to escape her parents for a few months, and it wasn't likw she had to make friends, she could always keep to herself.
"That's it" Michaela said out loud, "I'm going to Hogwarts"
She quickly ran downstairs, grabbed the letter and then ran back up the stairs.
She looked at the letter for a few seconds before carefully opening the envelope. The first page read,
HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Reading the letter made Michaela exited but also scared, she was scared that if she went she would end up hurting more people, but for the first time in forever, she put the negative at the back of her head and concentrated on the good.
She went downstairs and saw that both her parents were preparing dinner.
"Mum, dad, I want to go to Hogwarts"
Her parents were ecstatic
"I'm so exited," Annabeth exclaimed, "Your going to have such a good time"
Nicholas gave her a wide smile, " we will go to get your supplies
tomorrow"
