He slams the door open. His boots clicking in what seemed like dead silence. He slowly makes his way to the round table in the kitchen. He sets his rifle down on the table. Suddenly, he hears something. Someone is in the house, it's not only him. Oh crap, ohhh crap. He thought. He hears someone going down the stairs. Well their not being so stealth, are they? He wondered. The stairs creek with every step, and slowly, slowly he gets more creeped out. With that, he wearily picks up the rifle and turns around. He was surprised to see Indigo standing right behind him. "Oh my gosh, you scared the shit out of me!" Indigo smiles and says
"Well, how else am I supposed to make myself entertained?" He rolled his eyes and turned around. "Say, Dante, what were you going to do with that rifle, kill me?" Indigo broke out laughing. Dante put the rifle down carefully and said "Pshhhh no! Why would I do that?" Indigo smiled again and walked towards the window "Yeah sure" she said sarcastically.

Time in silence always seems to go by slowly. Every second, seems like minutes. Indigo sits down on the ledge near the window with pillows supporting her back. The bright light of the sun shine in her eyes. And the green trees seem to pop out at her. The birds chirping happily. Indigo stares off into the distance wishing something more.....
