Cole. The ghost turd! Pt. 2
My head hit the pavement and my eyelids became too heavy to keep them open. Soon darkness consumed me. I just passed out.............damn.
Chapter 4: Pt. 2 (Edited)
Violet's P.O.V.
I woke up with the largest headache of my life. My stomach burned as well as my scalp and the right side of my face. I wondered why my body felt as though I went running with the bulls and lost; then I remembered Cole and the fight we had.
That asshole....wait where the hell am I?
You don't wanna know.
Alex?
No, I'm one of the other voices stuck in your head.
...I'm in too much pain to deal with this right now.
Well, I would advise you to not be in too much pain to deal with THIS right now.
What are you talking about?
Vi...where do random ghost, who don't get captured by the Fentons, end up?
Wait....
...yeah.
Dammit!
My mind started to race with all the possibilities that could have happened while I was unconscious and what's being planned now that I'm awake.
You need to break free.
And how am I suppose to do that? I can barely open my left eye, let alone my arm.
Oh calm down, will you?
You're not the one strapped down to a metal dissection table. Besides I never got this far in my training to know how to escape GIW.
C'mon, try something!
Sighing gruffly under my breath, I try to get up but the restraints held me down. I think to transform, but as soon as I do it feels like my blood is on fire and my skin is melting off. I immediately change back before it became too unbearable.
Well, that did nothing.
Oh, my golly gosh....
Come on, can't you help me?
I'm a voice of reason, not a "body that can get you out of any situation" of reason.
At least try SOMETHING!
Fine!
...
...uh oh.
Uh oh? Why uh oh? What do you mean UH OH?
You may wanna prepare yourself for this.
Seriously.
What? I was trained how not to get you into these situations.
Well, can you not be unhelpful?
Um....your restraints seem to be less than fully secure. Try wiggling around a bit, you might pop out.
Thinking that there was no better offer on the table I start struggling against the restraints; wincing and whining as the straps rub against my probably bruised stomach. I notice that I slowly began slipping through, bit by bit. "Maybe I really can..."
Freedom!
Yay! Good for you- get the hell outta there! You can celebrate when you're home eating ice cream straight out the carton like any other human being.
I slowly get myself up from the ground and crawl around the lab, and now that I'm free I easily transformed into my ghost form. Chills ran down my spine just looking at the plain white walls and bright lights. I hated being near the building, but in it.......that's a whole other ball game.
Did I use that right?
How am I suppose to know?
I don't know!
Focus!
Ha, the girl with an attention span of a toddler is telling me to focus!
Oh, shut up and move before you're caught. Also, your ghost powers won't work here, so you're practically human regardless of your form here.
Thanks for the heads-up.
I pressed my ear against the door, trying to listen for any sounds of movement. I can't hear anything, so it must be clear. Getting up, opening the door and slipping down the halls- slowly and quietly.
Time-skip~
I cautiously move around, as not to gain any unwanted attention- or get caught. I progress feeling as though I'm moving deeper into the building, completely aware of the following presence behind me. Slightly scared and confused, I continued to slowly lead them away turning a corner in an attempt at catching who it was off-guard. ( A.N: Like in movies, when you're following someone and they take that 'unexpected' turn and you rush to follow- as not to lose sight of them, and they're gone........until you turn around and they're right there! That some scary shiz.) Only for them not to show up. 'Was it just my imagination?'
I turned around and nearly had the heart attack that would put me down for good. (A.N: Not in this story, though. Ha, the tables have turned! Mwahahaha...........still scary shiz.) I fell back on my ass, placing a hand over my still-beating heart.
"The Guys in White sure stepped it up since I was last here," Phantom said looking around thoughtfully, cute bastard.
"Are you crazy? You almost gave me a heart attack." I hissed, crawling over to him. "What are you doing here?"
Phantom turned towards me and his black eyebrows moved to match his confusion, "What?"
"Why are you here," I moved closer to him, "shouldn't you be off saving the day or something?"
"I am saving someone! Or at least I'm trying to." He knelt down to meet me on the ground, grabbing my hand.
"Right, who?"
"Well you, actually." I have never tried so hard not to laugh at someone. Mostly because we are in a highly secured facility that will legit murder me if they find us.
"Sure," I rolled my eyes. "Rescue me. Nice one."
"I'm serious."
"Yeah, and I bet that thermos of yours is going to save me."
"I'm not going to use that on you."
"Why? You don't even know me." I looked him in the eye, my silver bangs covering my green eyes. He tried to speak but I cut him off, "And if you were here to save me, why would you need to know why I'm here?"
"I already-"
"And-mmph" I stared down at his hand that covered my mouth,
"Tell me why you're here. Did they do anything to you?"
I ripped his gloved hand away from my face before giving him a deadpanned expression. "I'll spill my guts, once you spill yours."
"We don't have time-"
"Then, tough turkeys."
"Who say's 'tough turkeys' anymore?"
"Who said 'crazed fruit-loop', ever?"
"You're acting like a fruit-loop!"
"See, that exactly what I'm talking about! What does that even mean?!"
"Who cares what it means; how do you know I say it?!"
"I've seen your battles. You've said it to nearly every ghost you've come across, including me!"
"I've only said it to one, or two, or- whatever! Just talk-"
"No."
"You refuse to make this easy for me."
"Yep."
Then that smirk edged back onto his face. He moved closer to me, and I couldn't stop myself from moving back. He continued to creep forward, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it. Not that I'd give him the satisfaction of knowing that.
"Stop that." I hissed at him, he only laughed.
'If we keep this up', I thought, 'we might end like last time.'
Flashback~
He snickered and it made me blush even more. He noticed this and moved in closer. The closer he got the more nervous I became, not to mention the blush got even darker. Our lips were only mere inches apart, by this time I was a nervous wreck.
"Ph-Phantom...?" I mentally cursed myself for being so weak, to actually stutter.
"Call me Danny." he said, seduction covered his voice as a smirk made its way onto his lips.
End of flashback~
I was again trapped in between him and the wall. Go on, do it. I fucking dare you! Though, acting against my thoughts I still shut my eyes.
"I swear if you-" I felt a pair of his surprisingly warm, ghostly lips on my cheek. My eyes shot open and I blinked in shock.
"Wha-what?" I slightly whined, kind of disappointed that he didn't go through with it.
"Not enough, for you?" He smiled, moving away.
"Shut up." I pouted, glaring at his vivid, glowing emerald.....beauties.
"Thanks." He winked as I realized I said my own thoughts out loud.
"I said shut it." Sighing I allow him to lead me through the labyrinth.
Time-skip~
So, turns out that Danny was out patrolling for ghosts when he saw the 'G.I.W.' van being loaded with a body. His friend 'Tucker' somehow managed to hack into the security so they wouldn't be able to detect Danny in his ghost form. Danny led the way and we escaped, flying out of the building. I chose to stay in my ghost form, I didn't trust him not to attack me. That is if he didn't know already.
"Hey," I called up to him, resting in his arms because of how tired I was.
"Hm." He looked down at me, we floated in the air together.
"Thanks."
"What, no kiss?" his eyebrows wiggling suggestively.
A blushed engulfed my face, I didn't try to hide it, though. He laughed and I couldn't help myself from smiling, even though I shouldn't. We landed in the alleyway where I was kidnapped. "Thanks for the help."
Danny's P.O.V
"Not a problem, glad to know there's more good ghost out there."
"Oh, and what's your definition of a good ghost?"
"One that doesn't try to kill me, my friends or my family."
"Well, if that's the case am I really considered a good ghost?"
"What?"
"I tried to kill you....many, many times."
"With your cuteness, yes."
"Smooth, Phantom." She smiles, rolling her eyes playfully. She seems to be opening up to me more, than any of our other encounters before the GIW accident.
"I told you could call me Danny."
"I like Phantom, though."
"Fine, anything's better than "ghost-child" or "halfa" Or-"
"Inviso Bill."
I let out a shiver after she said that. "Yeah."
She giggles at my reaction, and I pout at her. Then I make a friendly reminder. 'Tease, ghost-girl, later.'
(A.N: For clarification, Violet's opinion on Danny changes in her ghost form. She hates him normally, so the only reason she laughed is that Spirit likes him; not 'cause she has a crush on him.)
End of Part 2.
