From all the angry hate

Must give my mind a shake

And find a different gait

Create a new mind-set

That leaves behind the fret

Paint from a new palette

Discover fresh outlet

Kind words to fill dark space

And leave a smiling face

Words offered up in grace

Design a tranquil place

Perform a humane act

Reach out and make contact

Compassion will attract

Kind acts that have impact
