Mark's P.O.V
I finished recording, and gave a sharp sigh.
"What's wrong with Yami?"
I looked behind me to see Layla, and I gave a smile at her. "What do you mean?"
Layla stared at me, as if something was clicking in her head. Her lips were in a thin, disapproving line. "I know something is wrong. I can feel the aura of sadness when I entered."
"See." Dark hissed in my brain and I just smiled.
"I'm sure Aaron's fine. He just needed some space."
"Did he tell you about his dream?" I froze and I saw Layla sigh. "I guess not. He didn't give me many details either. I just know it scares him."
And I've made a promise not to bug him about it...
"I'm sure he's fine. If it is serious he would of told me."
"Like you tell him about Dark?"
I was quiet, and I watched Layla turn away. "I see."
"It's not like that. It's just not that serious." I retorted and Layla looked at me with sad eyes. "It's nothing I can't handle."
"And yet he has been getting stronger."
"Layla. Get your nose out of my buisness." I snapped at her, and Dark hissed in my mind.
Layla looked hurt and she walked away. I sighed as the door swung close behind her. I turned back to the desk and put my head onto the table.
"You're an idiot Mark." I murmured to myself.
"Yes. Yes you are." Dark replied.
"Shut up."
"Don't feel like it."
I groaned in protest and slumped further into the chair. Why wasn't Aaron telling me anything? "I hate it when Layla's right."
"About what?"
I spun around to see Aaron.
