I glance at her,

 my enemy.

My anger boils inside me,

making my face 

glow

bright red.

I step closer

she stares at me

with rage.

She darts to the left

and I tackle her.

My instincts

have taken over me.

I can't control myself anymore.

And then,

I grab her arm,

drag her,

towards the window.

She shrieks

and I cover her mouth,

at least,

until she stops.

Then,

I throw her

with all my force

and she screams

and I watch her fall

to the ground.

The crickets chirp in wonder.

"What are you doing?" 

They ask me,

and I don't respond.

I just close the window and

walk away.

So, this was a joke.

Don't be weirded out.

If you don't know what defenestration is, then you're definitely not as weird as @BoristheTabby17and I. 

Defenestration is the act of throwing someone out the window, if you haven't figured it out yet.

I wanted to write a poem, but had no idea what to write it about.

The first word that popped into my head? Defenestration. Hey, at least it's unique.
