They landed on Jakku. But it wasn't nearly as deserted as they'd hoped. 

For one thing, the Mandalorians had followed them for some reason.And Greef had brought a small army. But there was an even larger army of Imperials. 

Cara grabbed her rifle and raced out into the battle. Din followed her, pausing to lock Grogu in the ship. 

Cara shot three times. Boom. Three hits. Out of the corner of her eye, Cara saw Ahsoka Tano. Then she noticed a general. Perfect. If she could knock him into that ravine, the Stormtroopers would scatter. As she neared the ravine, she glanced back towards Din, ignoring the battle.

It was a mistake.

Something hit her in the leg, and the new thing she knew she was falling...falling...falling...
