(Mathews POV)

I watch as Charlie creeps past the back barn, his eyes darting around, looking for any sign of me.

Heres the gist. It's a family reunion sort of thing. Uncle John, Uncle Garfield, Aunt Artemis, Uncle Wally, Uncle Dick, Aunt Star, Uncle Roy, Uncle Kal, Uncle Arii, Aunt Jade, Uncle Bruce, Aunt Selina, Uncle Oliver, Aunt Dinah, Aunt Diana, Grandpa J'onn, Uncle Jamie, Uncle Bart, Uncle Tye, Aunt Asa, Uncle Eda, Grandpa Clark, Grandma Lois, And all of there children. Even more people were there, but you could never count all of us. There were probably a hundred people, hero' alike.

After about an hour of walking around, chatting, and waiting for te late people to show up, one of the Bat children yelled as he ran into the corn field, "Ultimate Hide And Seek!"

I knew this was a bad idea, but, alas, I am now camouflaged in the middle of a corn field, watching my younger brother walk around, not having a clue where anyone was.

The rules of Ultimate Hide and seek are easy to follow.

1. Must stay on the property

2. Can use Powers

3. No Killing

4.  The first person who is tagged by the Person who initiates the game is it.

That sad person was Charlie.

It has been four hours and he's only found a few people. He's found, Dad, Katen, Jackson, Oliver, and Anthony. I thought he had also gotten Andrew, but he's actually just hiding in the hay loft with Anthony.

I knew that Charlie would need some help, but I didn't think this much. I watch him find one of the green lanterns, I think his name of Hal, or John, something like that. Whoever it was, had been sitting on a chair right inside the pig barn.

As I followed Charlie, I saw everyone hiding. I had seen almost everyone, actually. I hadn't seen Aunt Cass or Uncle Damian, but I think those two could hide from anyone, for however long they wanted.

---

It's almost ten at night, Almost half of us have been found. Clair was on my back sleeping as the two of us sat in the middle of the corn maze. Uncle Bart and Aunt Artemis were both asleep when we got here. A few people had run through, saying hi as they quickly left.

Mom, Clair and I were the only ones left of our family. Uncle Damian had apparently come out of no where, saying he had to take a phone call. Ried had also come out after the six hour mark, yelling out that all of this was ridiculous, and that he was hungry, getting a few pleas from others for he same thing. Grandma Lois and Uncle Bruce had both come out to cook, and Aunt Cassie had run out when her little boy started crying.

It was no surprise that Aunt Diana was sitting under an umbrella, Ricky and Julia asleep in her lap, TJ asleep next to her on the patio in another chair.

Uncle Jamie and Uncle Eda had both come out when Katen and Mia were caught. Only Uncle Tye was still hiding of their little family.

The Bats, except for Tim, had all came out after five hours. Aunt Cass had come out a little bit later, pulling her daughters out as they yelled at each other. Andrew had been found when he bluntly walked out of the barn with Anthony, "I can't believe he never saw me." He had said.

Grandpa Clark had gone in, carrying Uncle John back. It was fun to watch Uncle Damian rushing over to John, freaking out over him. Thankfully, though, he had just passed out from exhaustion.

"Matt, is Charlie done yet? I want mom and dad." Clair whined as she pulled on Matt's shirt.

"Do you want me to find mom, or do you want to go out and find dad. We would be out of the game." Matt said as he got Clair off his back. His only answer was more whining from the lass. "Clair, you aren't feelin well, are you?" She shook her head.

"I want mom." She repeated.

"Mom, where are you." I thought, linking up the family. I watched Clair flinch, and realized why she wasn't feeling well. "Also, be careful, Clair can hear you."  I lifted Clair up, cradling her as he started to walk back towards the house.

"Well, I was just found a few minutes ago. I want everyone back at the house. Clair, baby, Mama's gonna be right here in a second, just hang in there for me, okay sweetie?"  I started to walk slightly faster, finally getting through the corn.

I ran up to everyone else, passing Clair over to mom. I felt a hand on my back, and looked back to see Charlie. "Got you!" He smiled, running back towards the corn maze.

"So, who all is left?" I asked, looking over to Dad as he walked away from Unce Dick.

"Tim, Tye, and Grandpa J'onn. Tim is on the roof of the yellow barn, Tye is asleep in the corn field, and J'onn is over in that chair." Dad pointed over to the patio, pointing out a chair with a blanket over it.

"How had Charlie not noticed that?" I asked, sitting down nd looking around at all the tired faces, some with closed eyes, others waving goodbye.

"Charlie is a boy of simple talents. Focusing ain't one of them."
