Reggie smashed down on his skull several times, he stood back. Hearing everyone cheer, I stood there smiling in relief. Reggie looked to me, while I looked at him. "It's all over cupcake, we're safe." He explained as he took me into a tight hug. Gripping onto his jacket, he shushed me. "It's all over cupcake, we can live normal lives now." He placed a kiss on my head, us leaving the hug. I took my arm out of my jacket with the bullet wound. "Jesus, come on. I'll quickly stitch you up." Reggie and I went into the caravan, him quickly stitching me up and wrapping a clean bandage around it. We headed back out, as everyone hugged each other, as people started grabbing their weapons. Reggie pulled me aside.
"What's up?" I asked him.
"Go back to the boys." He said, as I gave him the are you sure look. "Yes, you've got sunlight starting now. If you leave now, you'll get to them by tomorrow night. I'm going to stay with these lot for a bit, ok?" He explained, tucking a bit of my hair behind my ear.
"I love you." I told him, as he smiled.
"I love you too Deanna, go. Go back to them." We had our last finale hug, how did it come to this moment. After all these years, 17 long years of running and hiding. We left the hug, he placed a kiss on my forehead. Going to the car, I got in and backed up. Reggie and I keeping eyes contact, before I took off. My heart was racing, racing of anxiety. I wasn't sure when I was going to see Reggie again, Reggie gave me a nod. Telling me it's all going to be ok, I blew a kiss to him. As I took off onto the main road, 36 hours till I'm home. Home with my boys.
Looking out my window, I looked down into the valleys. Smiling at the herds of brumbies together, I smiled at one particular foal. I don't know why, but it reminded me of myself. Then laughing at a horse that reminded me of Reggie, around a 16.2hh black stallion. Tears then ran down my face, happy ones. Turning up the radio, following the road.

Hours and hours went throughout the day, stopping to get gas, food and water. I didn't really get tired driving back, I was to hyped to see the boys and I to hug them both. To tell them it's all over and I can have a normal life, have a normal love life without being so afraid of criminals getting to him. Then to have a normal friendship, besides from Haylee. Ethan, to also not be afraid of criminals getting to him and being able to talk to him without be afraid of people listening in. Not having to tell him about people that are involved with real bad shit.
Then the man who has saved my life, raised me into the person I am today. The guy who's risked everything for me, having to not have a wife. Not having anything like that, cause of his loyalty and promise to my parents. Which I admire, plus! The guy who's taught me to fight and to do everything in my life. Can you guess who I'm talking about? Yes, no? Well, the answer is the one and only... my uncle reggie.

The purest heart and soul I've grown up to love and look up too. Would I change that? Nope, not even. Funny enough, my own parents. I would've liked to known them, but I've slowly came to love who I am. When he was down, tired from staying up all night. I would do my best to make him laugh or even a slight smile. He would also return the favour. Who could ask for anything better?
After hours and hours of driving, I smiled seeing the warehouse a block away. Turning to the driveway, getting out of the car. Putting in the pin to open the huge roller door, parking the car and then closing the door again. My pressed lip smile, turned into a shy smile with teeth. "Ethan!Someone, wait-!" Grayson froze seeing me, he looked at my bloody clothes. "Deanna?" All I did was run at him, him wrapping his arms around me.

I wrapped my arms around him tight, I looked at him as he smashed his soft plush lips against my dry crusty lips. I could tell he missed me, as much as I missed him. I jumped slightly, wrapping my legs around his waist. Grayson then attempted to walk us up the stairs to his room, but tripped half way. He stumbled, he made sure I didn't fall. We both laughed, as we eventually did make it to his room. I was a bit too bloody, so we went into his bathroom.
Beginning to get undressed, I had the thought of the insecurity of my wounds. Cause to be honest, my ex was a douche when we had sex. Because of that, I was scared slightly of what gray would say. He's been good, but he hasn't seen all my battle wounds. I had my stab wounds, which were really hard to see now. My recent gun shot wound, then my bruises from my fight against Pello and his people. Grayson took off my shirt, as I knew he picked up something was wrong. "We don't have to do this if you don't want to, I can wait and did you get these wounds from Pello and that!?" I smiled at him.
"They are, it's not that I don't want to. It's that with my ex, he was a douche about my stab wounds, bullet wounds and bruises." I explained, as he softly kissed a really bad bruise of my shoulder. I winced slightly, he then held my sore face.
"I don't care about your stab, bullet wounds and your bruises. This shows what you've been through and how strong you are, I love you Deanna Winston. I love you for you and I'll continue to do that. I love every bit of you." Tears slightly formed in my eyes, as I smiled at him.
"I love you Grayson Dolan."
We soon got into the shower, watching the dry blood come off of my body. Grayson was careful, he held me like I was a glass vase and if he held to hard. I would break in my fragile state. Grayson also placed soft angel kisses on my wounds and bruises, seeing also I had a lot of dried blood in my hair. After a while, we stood in the shower. Holding one another.
