“Niall!” Louis yelled! “Here!” He handed me an envelope that was sealed shut. He sat down beside me as I began to open the mail. I recognise the paper and the scent. It must be Meaghan. She always sprays a bit of the same perfume on each letter she gives me. I don’t know what it’s called. It just smells nice and makes my heart flutter of joy.

“Is it Meaghan?” Louis asked me. I smiled and nodded my head. I opened the paper and began to read.

Dear Niall

I had a bad day today. No! It was terrible! I woke up, got a call from work and got fired. Apparently I never showed up at work yesterday. But I did! So I’ve been looking for jobs around my town I am in. They all said the same thing. No. And guess who I had to run into today. One of my old bullies. I thought I’d never see her again! But boy was I wrong! She gave me a black eye and a couple of bruises on my sides. I came home and got kicked out of my apartment. Apparently I never paid rent for last month. But I did! So now I have 3 days to gather all my items and take them to my parents place. Once I think my life is getting better, it’s not.

Why did Taylor have to move so far away? She would help me in this kind of situation. I am just a girl with a bad past, trying to forget about it. What have I done? Okay, I’m going to stop. I’m ranting. Sorry.

Thanks Niall! No one has ever said that to me for a really long time. I’m keeping that letter. So Ni, how have you been?

I have to pack now. L Bye Niall. And yes! Someday I would like to meet you, if that’s okay.

I sighed. That really is a terrible day.

“What’s wrong Niall?” Louis asked me. I handed Louis the note so he can read it. He took it and read it. His eyes widened. He handed the letter back to me. I sniffed it again. I smiled. Wait! She said one of my old bullies. She said she never told me she got bullied. Either she did or I just forgot.

“Go write back to her mate!”

I smiled and ran to my room. I went over to my computer desk, got out some paper and a pen. I began to write.

Wow! That sounds like a really tough day! If I was there with you, I’d make sure that bitch would’ve never even said or done all of that shit to you. Because of that terrible day, I am going to take a day off so I can meet you. Just tell me the day and I’m all yours! I promise!

I smiled while finishing. I folded the letter and put it in an envelope.

“NIALL! PIZZA IS HERE!” I heard Liam yell from the kitchen. I put the envelope on my desk and went to the kitchen for my pizza.
