NICO'S P.O.V

The days passed and it was almost the day of the play. I was excited but at the same time I wasnt. Weird huh.

Lily walked into mh room as I was on tumblr. I quickly close mh laptop and gave her my full attention. "Hey Nico." She started.

"Hey" I casually say.

"We gotta talk" she said looking at her hands. I nod and get up from my desk and sit down on my bed. Lily walks over and sits down next to me. "How do I say this... I know I wasnt there for you all the time, but it was nice having you as a foster child." She started to tear up. My eyes widen and I look around, trying to find a tissue or something.

"W-whats going on?" I ask as I reach for a tissue from the tissue box I found. "Is something wrong?" I hand her the tissue and she takes it.

"Oh it's nothing bad really!" She looks up at me. "Its just. You're moving to a different foster family!" She forces a smile but tears still slide down her cheek. Her lips tremble and she hugs me. "Im sorry for not being there for you! Im gonna miss you! I really miss your sister" I was shocked but then I hugged back.

"I miss her too. And you were by far the best foster parent I had. You didnt give me up." I sigh. Who's gonna be my next "parents"? I close my eyes and listen to Lily softly cry.

"You're moving?!?!" Leo shouts. "Like away?" He has me by the shoulders and is looking at me with sad and worried eyes. I look back at him with my poker face.

"No no no, I'm just moving to a different house and parents and-" I shake Leo off and start walking past him. I hear Leo following me."I dont even know Leo. Truth is I'm scared." The bell rings and walk a faster.

"Wait Nico! I know you know!" Leo speed walks next to me. I roll my eyes and walk faster. Leo looks down at our feet and also walks faster. I look over at him and he looks at me, smiling. "1,2,3, GO!" We both run towards our homerooms smiling and laughing. The teacher looks at us and we calm down a bit. We take our seats just as the tardy bell rings. I feel a tap on my hand and turn to see Leo passing me a note. I sigh and take the note, unfolding it carefully.

Tell me

"You got to be fucking kidding me" I say under my breath. I look over at Leo, who was try to balance a pencil on his top lip. I turn my attention back to the paper and write...

I dont know

I crumble the paper up and throw it at Leo, which hit him in the face making the almost balanced pencil fall. "Damn it Nico." He reached down for the note and pencil. He read the three words and then started writing something down. He passed me the note again. I grabbed it and read it.

The note passing lasted for the rest of the short period, it went something like this: (Nico is this;Leo is this)

Are you sure? How do you even know you are gonna move to a different foster family??

Yes I'm sure! Lily told me.

I knew that. Anyways when are you gonna met these new "family" that you are gonna live with.

Today. I think. Yeah, I'm moving my shit to their place today. And well meeting them too.

Well if the ever mistreat you, you call me and I'll rip them to pieces!

Calm the fuck down Leo

Leo finished reading the last part and the bell rang. We got up and went to our different classes. Will then tagged along with me as we went to our class.

"Hey Neeks!" He smiled brightly.

"Hey there."I force a small smile. He walks next to me and hums a little. We get to class and seat in my seat.

"Good morning everyone! How are you all doing today?" Mrs.Aphrodite said. She was a substitute teacher for english. The class responded with different answers. Mrs. Aphrodite smiled and moved her hair out of the way. She was really pretty, but she would always seem to change. Even her skin would seem different from time to time. "Well class you teacher has left you with a project! sense we are getting closer to the end of the semester, she would like you to do a project!" A lot of people groaned. "Oh shush! It'll be fun! All you have to do if pick someone you know and write what you have learned about them and then what new stuff you have learned about them meanwhile doing this project! Easy right?" She smiled and looked around the class. "Okay then. You can pick your partners!" Everyone quickly got up and grabbed the partner. "IF YOU CAN, PICK SOMEONE YOU LIKE! MAKE THOSE SHIPS SAIL STUDENTS!" Mrs.Aphrodite screamed over the kids.

Will looked at me. "Sup, wanna be partners?" He asked. I look at him emotionless.

"Sorry, your not my type." Will looked shocked and almost fell off his chair. "I'm telling Leo, by the way." Now Will looked scared.

"Oh gods no, Nico. Please. I just wanted to be partners for the project!." I start to giggle a little and it grew into a laugh. "Heh, w-whats funny Nico?"

"I'm just messing around with you. Of course I'm gonna be your partner for the project!"

"Okay children! Settle down! I still have to give you this paper thing..." Mrs.Aphrodite said while hold a sack of paper. "Sit down with your partners and start talking...or something." Everyone sat down and mrs. Aphrodite handed out the papers.

"Thank you!" Will said as she gave him a paper. she smiled and walked to the other table.

"What does it say?" I say leaning towards him. The paper said:

END OF SEMESTER ESSAY/PROJECT

It is almost the end of the semester for this school year and i hope you have met with new people and made lots of friends, cause thats what this is about! You will pick someone to be your partner(FROM THIS CLASS). You will both write separate essays telling me what you have learned about your friend and why you are friends with them. You will then write what new things you have learned about each other meanwhile doing this project.

Other then your essay you will also be making a small presentation. You will be presenting this so be sure you know what you are going to say. This will also be part of your grade so be sure to have a good presentation. You will only say the basic facts listed below:

-Family heritage

-Birthday

-Favorite color, food, and hobby

-Why they are a good friend

-what makes them special

-Important fact(s)

I stopped reading and and leaned away from Will. I didnt want to present, it scares me. Will could sense that I was scared.

"Whats wrong?" He asked. I shake my head.

"Nothing, lets just uh get started I guess." I grab my backpack and pull out a piece of paper. "When is this due?" I say as I write the title on the page. Will scanned the paper.

"Its due in about a month-" He started

"Oh thank god." I let go of my pencil and slouched back down on my chair. I looked over at Will, who stared at me. "What?"

"Nothing" He chuckled.

The bell rang and everybody got up ready to leave.

TIME SKIPZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ to after school

"YO, DEATH BOOOOY!" Leo shouted down the hall. I turn around and look at him as he runs down the hall. I smile a little and close my locker. Leo finally is next to me. "Hey there good lookin" He winks at me and i roll my eyes still smiling. "So you wanna go eat or something? I'll pay!"

"Well... as long as you're paying, im in." I laugh a little. "But I actually cant. I have to go move my things to the new family's house." Leo looked down disappointed.

"Okay, but tomorrow we are definitely going on a date" Leo said pointing a finger at me. I smile a little and nod.

"Totally. Well bye!" I kiss him on the cheek and walk outside of the school. Lily was already waiting for me. I open the car door and jump in. "Hey Lily." She smiles at me sadly.

"Hey there kiddo. You ready?" I give her a slight nod and she starts the car. Most of my stuff is in the car already. The house wasnt that far away and we got there quickly.She parks the car and looks at me. "You okay?" I wasnt. I wasnt ready for change. I felt like crying and tearing down the whole house. I was shaking and scared.

"Yeah."

We got out of the car and started unloading the my stuff from the car. The front door of the house opened and out came a lady with long straight orange hair. She had natural beige skin tone and was pretty tall. She looked calm and friendly.

She started walking towards us. "Hello! You must be Nico di Angelo!" Her voice was gently and she seemed like a nice person. I smile and nod a little. "Oh um there is someone inside who will be living with us. She's waiting for you inside!" I look at Lily and she nods. I look back at the lady and nod. I start walking towards the house, breathing slowly trying to calm myself down. I finally get to the open door and peek in. It was a pretty big house.

"Nico?"I heard someone say behind me. I turn around in surprise. I smile for real this time.

"HAZEL?" I ask happily. She nods and smiles to.

"Oh my god. I didnt know you were coming to live with us! I just new it was a kid named Nico!" She hugged me and i actually hugged back feeling a whole lot calmer. She let go of me and I let go of her.

"Thank god it was you." I say. She smiles and claps her hands.

"This is gonna be great!" We hear foot steps and we turned around. Lily stood smiling at me and so did the lady. "Becca Becca! I know him!" Hazel said happily.

"That's great! Hazel do you mind showing Nico to his room?" She said to Hazel. Hazel nodded and dragged me upstairs. We went to a room at the end of a hall. Hazel opened the door and walked in, dragging me with her.

"This is your room!" She spread her arms out and then smiled at me. The room was painted black and had two windows. It had it's own bathroom too. In the corner the was a bed and a side table. "Its empty but it'll be much better when you put your stuff in here."

"Yeah, I can't wait."

TIME SKIP TO ONE DAY BEFORE THE PLAY...(LIKE 3 DAYS LATER) After school. At Nico's Locker

"NEEKS" Leo said as he hugged me. "TOMORROW'S THE PLAY!" I laugh a bit and kiss his cheek.

"Yeah Leo. It is. Do you remember your lines?" I was terrified for tomorrow, but acting calmed me down a bit. But it still was scary being in front of so many people, but at least they were just gonna be adults.

"Yeah yeah...but maybe we can go over them?" Leo asked. My smiled faded and I sighed.

"Sorry Leo I can't. I have to do a project with Will. Maybe if you want you can come over at night." Dam it Will. You just had to come over today.

"So what are you saying Will is more important?" Leo raised an eyebrow.

"Pfft. Hell no." I gave him are you seriously asking me that look. "I'm just saying I want to finish the project and get a good grade. Calm down Leo, it's not like we're going to make out."

"Why would you even say that?"

"Sorry, i just thought of when Mrs. Aphrodite said to pick someone you like."

"You picked Will cause you like him?!"

"What! No no! Will picked me!" Damn it.

"Will picked you? He could of picked anyone put he picked you?"

"Um whats that suppose to mean?"

"He's more popular then you and knows more people and he picked you out of everyone. Like he could've picked Calypso!"

"And why not me? Am i a bad person?"

"You can be very negative.."

"So I'm a bad and Negative person? Anything else you'd like to add?"

"No no, you're not any of that you just kinda scare people."

"Excuse me? I scare people? Well at least I don't annoy them to death" The halls were empty and it was only me and Leo. I walked home so no one was expecting me outside. What was even going on?

"HEY! I'm sorry i annoyed you that one time! But for me thats the only way to get noticed! I dont cry and act all sad to get noticed!"

"WELL SORRY THAT I MISS MY MOTHER AND SISTER!"

"YOU THINK YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE YOU LOST SOMEONE THEY LOVE?"

"This is why you're the seventh wheel, Leo!" I could see Leo getting really angry at me. He pushed me into the locker hard.

"Well at least I don't cause people to push and to hit me!"

"YOU THINK THATS A JOKE?" I stepped forward.

"NO I THINK ITS YOUR SHITTY LIFE"

"YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT ELSE IS IN MY SHITTY LIFE? YOU! YOU'RE IN MY SHITTY LIFE." Leo stepped back. "AND I THOUGHT WE'D NEVER FIGHT LIKE THIS. Cause... I trusted you. Bye Leo. I need to go home." I grab my back pack and close my locker. I run out the school and keep running until I'm at the traffic light. I look down as I cross the street think of what just happened.Gods what did I do. I'm such a shitty person. I heard my phone buzz and i took it out of my back pocket as i got to the other side of the street. It was a text from Leo. Hopefully to say sorry.

Nico, look. Just say sorry and lets go back to the way it was.

Me? Over my dead body. I couldn't believe it. I shove my phone back into my pocket and keep walking home with a mad expression on my face. I wanted to cry but I couldnt. "God damn my shitty life"

TO THE PLAY! BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. MAYBE TISSUES?

It was time for the play and i was shaking like crazy. I was in the Hades costume already, and i was reviewing my lines.

"Where the hell is Hephaestus??" I heard someone yell. I turn around looking for Leo. Thats strange. I put my paper with my lines down and went to find Will. Sure i was mad at Leo but I still cared for him. He was still after all my boyfriend. I couldnt stay mad at him forever.

"Will where's Leo?" I asked Will.

"I dont know!" Will said. "He's supposed to be going next! Gods what are we going to do!!"

"Maybe i should call him. Give me my phone, please" Will reached into the phone bin and grabbed my phone. He passed it to me and i dialed Leo's number as quickly as possible. "It's ringing" One the third try of calling him someone finally picked up.

"H-hello?" They said in a shaky voice.

"Hello? Who is this? Is Leo there?" I asked. They let out a sob.

"Leo.."They started crying even more. My heart stopped and I looked at will. No no no no. Please let me be wrong. The other person calmed down a bit and finally spoke.

"Leo's dead"
