"Okay people! We're live in two minutes!" The director yelled forcing everyone to there appropriate places in the news studio.

All the while two people a young blond women sitting at a desk in front of the cameras, smiling and getting ready to go on air, and a young man sitting next to her looking slightly worried.

"Ok, I have all my notes and I've reviewed all the facts. So why do I still feel like something's missing?" the young anchorman said looking through his final notes for any flaws.

The young woman giggles at his antics. "Oh relax Nathan, it'll be fine." She said patting him on the back. "I Know this is bigger than what we usually do, but we'll get through this just like every other interview we have." She said giving smiling at him, to which Nathan returns.

Nathan nods and takes a deep breath. "Thanks Hanna."

"Were live in 10 seconds!" the director shouted, prompting everyone to be quite.

The director gives the go and plays the intro while the cameras turn on.

The two anchormen smile at the camera. "Hello and welcome to UA News where all in United America is revealed. Hi I'm Hanna Bailey."

"And I am Nathan Gilmore, where tonight we well be bringing you an exclusive interview with a very special guest. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome The head commissioner of the Death-Row games, Mr Jasper Lane!" Nathan said as he and Hanna stood up applauding as a middle aged man with greying brown hair and wearing a pitch black suit approaches the set while waving at the cameras.

Sitting on the couch next to the desk Jasper smiles at his hosts. "Well thank you Hanna and Nathan for having me here, Its truly an honor." Jasper said to the anchormen.

"No, thank you Mr Lane the honors all ours." Hanna replied.

Jasper smiled at there comment."Yes, we'll I'm sure it is all yours." He said jokingly.

This caused a bit of laughter from the two anchormen. "Yes we'll, regardless thank you for coming on our show." Hanna said while giggling.

"Yes well, we're honestly surprised that you had the time to be here, you must be busy with the preparations of the Death-Row games." Said Nathan.

"Yes, the preparations have been, busier than usual you could say, due to several outside factors." Jasper replied.

"What kind of factors?"

Jasper looks down and sighs before saying. "Well lately for the past several years, polls and records have shown that crime in the UA has in fact, increased by at least 15%."

The news anchormen looked surprised by this revelation. "Well, I must say I didn't expect such a increase. What do think would be the cause crime increasing at such a high percentage?" Asked Hanna.

"We'll I suspect that the war with Europe and the common wealth plays a part in this." Said Jasper.

"But that can't be true, we've been at war for over 30 years, why would crime in the UA make such a large increase now, when its only been minor since the beginning of war?" Asked Nathan.

Jasper pulled out a small rectangular device from his coat pocket. Pushing a button on top of the device a hologram of a large group of people rioting in a street waving several flags of the White House burning. "This photo was taken at Calgary during a riot that occurred a three days ago, this is one of several riots that has taken place in northern America. The cause of these riots are the acts of terrorism committed by the American Canadian terrorist group who call themselves the 1812s. And to give more fuel for the fire, the king of England has made a public announcement commending the acts of resistance of the 1812s."

"So what your saying is that the acts of terrorism committed by the 1812s are inspiring other American Canadians to commit these acts of treason?" Asked Nathan.

Jasper nods at his answer. "So what is the governments response to all this?" Hanna asked feeling concerned about the situation.

Jasper gives a small smile and looks at the camera. "We will be doubling the number of convicts that will going to participate in the next Death-Row games." The two anchormen look surprised and started clapping along with the sounds of a fake audience applauding to news that Jasper has reveled.

"Well I must say this is quit the pleasant surprise. Tell me Mr Lane, how good do think the next Death-Row games are going to be?" Nathan asked with him and Hanna looking forward to the next games.

Jasper again looks at the camera and smile. "I believe that the next Death-Row, will be the most entertaining, most fun and most exciting Death-Row yet."
