Daemon laughs.

"It's not on anyone's agenda, Skylar."

She shakes her head.

"No, it was on mine, just not until next Thursday."

"Was that sarcasm?"

Lee groans, turning to face him.

"Yes, you idiot. Now get in the van before they see us."

Daemon grabs hold of the door, swinging himself into the vehicle, before extending an arm to Lee.

"Will she be okay?" he asks, watching as Skylar angles her gun at the nearest figure.

"Probably."

"Maybe we should help."

Lee grimaces.

"Okay, fine, go do your demon voodoo."

Daemon glares, clicking his fingers and smirking as the boy's eyebrows ignite.

"Hey, Daemon?"

He hums.

"Remember when I said you were nice?"

"Yes."
