Mae's P. O. V

"Who amongst you all destroyed my car?", the angry principal asked all the student in WCHS.

" No response right, all of you get-"

"I did.", we heard a voice from the back of the crowd.

" Come closer so I we can see your rebellious face.",the angry principal demanded.

The guy that took the blame for me came closer, the closer he came I felt nervous and guilty. I didn't have the nerves to look, so I looked away before he came close to me.

"You are suspended.", Principal Kelvis shocked the whole student.

I looked up and saw Nathan on the podium with his head bowed. It seemed he felt like I was looking at him because he looked up. His eyes met everyone's eyes but avoided mine. Guilt filled me as I looked into his grey eyes. As I looked into his eyes all I felt was gratitude and appreciation. I can't believe the schools bad boy could take blame for his enemy- scratch that, I mean frenemy.

" Leave this school right this minutes.",Principal Kelvis yelled.

I felt a spell been casted from behind me as I turned I saw Josh. I looked back at Nathan and it seemed his legs are glued to the podium.

"Get out of here can't you hear me.", Principal Kelvis yelled again.

" Undo what you have done right now.",I ordered as I looked into my brothers brown eyes. He ignored me and went to the back of the crowd.
Great just what I need, an annoying brother.

"I am-", Nate was interrupted by a slap, I looked at Nate and I could feel him getting angry. I looked over to the man who slapped him- Mr Kelvis. I found myself getting angry on Nates behalf, I was about going to meet him before someone placed a hand on my shoulders, stopping me in the process.

" Don't or you might blow your cover.",Andre said.

"But-"

"If you go you will make things worse. He can take care of himself", He argued.

" He can't, his legs are stucked to the podium. ",I informed him.

" Can you go get me a stick, a very big stick?",I asked and he nodded. He looked at me for a while before leaving.

I know you might be wondering what I want to use a stick for, well I just needed him to go away from me, so I could cast a spell to free Nate.

"Quic quid tibi carmine casted end communisset.", I whispered.
Please tell me it worked.

Nate stood there staring at Mr Kelvis, it seemed like he can't still believe that he was slapped in front of the whole school because of my brother, I won't blame him if he punch or kick the principal because he deserves it and more.

The next thing I saw shocked me. He walked out of the hall and ran towards the parking lot. Everyone followed out of curiosity. As we all got in the parking lot my eyes widened in shock, Nate is breaking the glass in Principal Kelvis car. He is currently causing damages to the poor car. No body had the guts to stop him, I began to search for Andre, where is he when you really need him.
Oooohhh no, Nate will just get himself into more trouble. Where are you, Andre??

I looked at Nathan and I saw someone hold his hand. I couldn't see properly because the crowd was obstructing my view. I pushed to the crowd and stood in front, now I will be able to see who it was. I saw Andre holding Nathans hand. Nathan threw his hands off his and continued to rain havoc on the poor car.

" Stop it!! ",Andre yelled.

But Nathan ignored him. Nathan continued, he threw the stick he was with away and picked up a big stone and threw it on the car, causing the car's alarm to go off.

" What is happening?? Are the two inseparable brothers fighting? The bad boy is back. What an arrogant skunk?....",I could hear their thoughts. I was tempted to yell but I couldn't. I have attracted a whole lot of attention since I came, I didn't want more attention- negative ones.

I went back into the school after getting pushed here and there by the curious crowd, I checked if anyone was close by when I saw no one I shape shifted into Mr Kelvis and made sure my voice sounded like his.

I went back to the parking lot and ordered everyone to get back to their classes and they obliged. I looked at Nathan and Andre.

"What the hell, bro?", Andre asked the angry Nate.

" Bro? I didn't know you still saw me as your brother. I thought you hated the sight of me since you blatantly ignore and snob me. ",Nate sounded hurt," Just stay the fuck away from me, dude. ",Nathan ended as he walked back into the school.

" Get bac-",before I could complete my statement, Andre walked pass me. Been a principal seem hard.

I looked around again and saw no sign of any student or teachers or non academic staff. I shape shifted back to myself.

I ran into the school and saw Nate approaching me with a box on his hands. I waited for him to come towards me. But when he came closer, he walked pass me like he never saw me or like I never stood in front of the exit.

"Nate, wait!!", I screamed in order to be heard.

He ignored and walked into his car, I ran to meet him since I didn't want to be caught using my powers.

" Nate please we need to talk.",I begged, something I learned to do since we met.

He wanted to start the car but I held his hand, "Please we need to talk. I am really-"

"Save it Mae, I am currently not in the mood for an apology.", he interrupted me.

" And who told you I was about apologising? I just wanted to- to-"

"To what? To look at my handsome face.", I saw his serious angry face, I thought he was serious until a smirk appeared on his face. I never knew he could joke.

"You want to join me. I will drop you off at home but no chatting while we- I drive.", he corrected himself and I nodded in agreement.

" Just give me a minute. I need to drop something off first ",I looked at him for approval, when I got one, I ran into the school and searched for Avery but I couldn't find her but found Reeny.

" Give this to Avery, tell her to drive herself home.",I ran out of the school in order to avoid more questions.

I got into Nates car and trust me when I say his Ferrari is the latest, as I sat on the seat next to Nate, I sank in.

"You loving my car, ain't you?", he grin and I nodded.

" I knew you will.",he said as he played "REPUTATION" by Taylor swift.

"I love your taste", I smiled.

" Thank you, red headed girl.",he whispered which earn him a slight push on his arm.

"Please stop calling me that, it sounds.......weird.", I said searching for the right word.

" But you are weird.....in a nice kind of way.",he said it in a seductive manner and I found myself blushing.

"Hey Jay", I greeted as I entered the house.

I saw him sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in his hands. He looked paled and I saw worries written on his face.

" Is everything alright? Is Angel getting better?",I asked but he ignored me. I felt he was still angry with me.

"Jay-", the door was opened, Jay and I looked at the door and saw the rest entered.

"There is a problem.", Jay dropped his cup of coffee on the stool in front of him. We did ask what it was, we waited for him to continue the information.

" Our Ma's are been severely punished. They been beaten daily. ",Jay informed us and I and Reeny fell to the ground.
It can't be. Our ma's can't let themselves be defeated......at least not that easy.

My vision became blurry, I looked behind Ryan and saw Ry standing there. He came closer and I thought he was coming to comfort me but I was wrong, he knelt in front of Reeny and engulfed her in a hug as he kissed her forehead.
I looked at him and I felt my heart break a little. Ma, where are you? I really need you now.
