Mitch's POV

I quietly sat in the box that the other guys built. I wasn't sure why they built it but it had to do something with the liquid they created for the science fair.

The others talked about something that would happen but I wasn't listening. I was too thinking how this may affect Sky, Ty, and Jason. Soon my mind drifted away and I started thinking about Jerome.

I was too distracted that I didn't see the black liquid fall on me. At first, I panicked but I calmed when my partners repeated the rules.

I guess I calmed too much because the liquid started to move on its own. The whole box was filled. I tried to get out when I started to lose breath. 

It didn't work.

Soon my world went black.

Notch's POV

I flinched as I felt a wave of nausea hit me. I wasn't sure why but this wasn't a good feeling.

I got up from my desk and visited the room that the children from the island were staying at.

I opened the door and gasped in shock as I saw Jason on the floor, gasping for air. I ran to him and shook him. I hissed as he started to cough some black liquid.

"GUARDS! GET THE DOCTOR," I yelled loudly as I did CPR to Jason.

A few minutes later, his eyes went black and he passed out. I checked for a pulse and sighed in relief when I saw that he was still alive.

The doctor soon ran in and checked up on Jason.

I went to my office and checked the mirror that Hero once built me and tried to see where the other three were.

Ty was in Husky's room, doing homework but he was wiping the same black liquid off his lips.

Sky was with Seto in the waterfall near here. Seto was looking at Sky in worry as he coughed a bit of black liquid.

I sighed in relief that they were also ok but when I tried to check on Mitch, all that showed was black. Some students were trying to reach something from inside it but couldn't.

My eyes widened as I remembered what the liquid looked like.

I hid the mirror and ran to the room where the students were.

Inside, Mitch was on the floor panting for air. From head to toe, he was covered in black liquid. His wings and tail were showing for the first time. 

I tried to search for the other students but all I found were torn apart pieces of clothes.

Mitch slowly sat up and giggled. He slowly stood up and looked at me.
