"MOM! ARE YOU HERE?!?"

"YES SWEETIE! WHAT IS IT?!?"

"AMANDA IS BUGGING ME!"

"AMANDA! STOP BUGGING YOUR SISTER!"

Maria snickered at Amanda and stuck her tongue out.

"You are such a brat Maria"

"I know you are but what am I?"

Maria giggled as her younger sister gave her a disappointing face.

"You're so easy to tease Amanda, but you know I love you"

"I know. But I still have tons of videos of you snoring, sleeping beauty"

"Oh you're just jealous of how graceful I sleep"

"Yeah right. You literally wake me up at night sometimes"

Maria and Amanda started to giggle as they joked around with each other.

"I am so glad I didn't get a younger brother"

"I know right? Makeup would so not look good on me if I was a boy"

"You are so weird Amanda"

"I know, and that's why you love me"

"Yeah. You're right, I would hate it if you were like the other girls at school. Or even like me"

"So anyways. How many likes do you have?"

"50"

"50?"

"Thousand"

"50,000?!?"

"Yep"

"That's amazing Maria"

"Yeah. Wait a minute. Where's that little boyfriend of yours"

"Best. Friend"

"Oh. I believe you"

"I've told you this everything you've brought it up. What don't you get?"

"The part where YOU wake me up every night, saying his name over and over again"

"I do not say his name! At least not every night"

"Yes you do. All I hear is. Oh Audric...mumble mumble mumble"

"I do not say mumble mumble mumble"

"I know. I just don't listen to what else you say"

"Whatever"

Amanda grumpily walked out of the room. Maria snickered as she watched her little tantrum outside of the room. After giggling for a few moments, Maria started to refresh the web page. She gasped as the likes she had said 64,000. Maria suddenly heard a knock at the front door and got out of her room to answer it.

"Oh. Hi Audric, Amanda is in her room"

"Thanks Maria"

Audric came in and walked to Amanda's room confidently. Maria went back to her room and went on her phone to see a text from a number she had never seen before.

"What the?..."

The text said. Meet me at the school Saturday, 1 PM. Maria got a little scared but sent a text back saying ok. As the day passed it was Friday night and Amanda came into Maria's room.

"Hi Maria. I was wondering if you wanted to do something with me since Audric is away for the weekend now"

"So I'm your backup plan?"

"No no! I didn't mean it like that! I swear!"

"Oh my god, I'm just kidding Amanda. I wouldn't care if I was the backup plan to a hundred other people"

"Oh. Well do you wanna go out?"

"Sure where?"

"I was thinking of going to that new club, since I am now old enough to go in there"

"Okay. Just let me get ready"

"Okay. I need to get ready too"

Amanda retreated back into her room while Maria started to put on her make up. After about 20 minutes, she started to brush her long dark brown hair until it was completely straight. After about an hour and a half total, Maria was ready to go. She made sure she had her phone and went to the front door where she saw Amanda all dressed up for the club.

"All ready to go?"

"Yeah, all set"

As the two walked out the door, Maria thought of something.

"Wait. We need rings"

"Why?"

"Well you don't want some guy to walk up and start flirting with you, do you?"

"No I guess not"

"Okay then. I'll be right back"

Maria went back to her room and grabbed 2 of her most expensive rings. She walked back to Amanda and they got in her car.

"Which one?"

"That one" Amanda said pointing at the gold and Emerald ring.

"Ok here you go"

Maria put on her ring and gave Amanda her's and started the car.

"You know where we're going?"

"Yeah"

"You wanna drive?"

"Sure"

The girls switched spots and Amanda started to drive to the club. After about 30 minutes, The two girls finally got to the club.

"Here we are!"

"Okay. Do you have your ring on the engagement ring finger?"

"Yep. See"

"Good. Well let's go"

The girls walked into the club and and headed to the bar.

"I want to try something, do you have any suggestions?"

"Maybe a shrimp cocktail?"

"Okay. Excuse me! May I have a shrimp cocktail?"

The bartender shrugged and started to make the drink. Amanda watched him make it until Maria said something.

"You like this so far?"

"Ya"

The bartender slides the drink in front of Amanda and she starts drinking it. Amanda slowly chokes it down.

"Yum..."

"Oh suck it up"

"Argh. I need to go to the bathroom. I'll be back"

"I'll be here"

As Amanda ran to the bathroom, a guy with a bald head, black t shirt, and blue jeans walked up to her.

"How you doing?"

"Well I WAS doing pretty great"

"You wanna come to my place?"

"Um...I can't"

"Why not?"

"I am...um...engaged!"

"I don't care"

"Just go away!"

"Not until I get what I want"

"Well what you want isn't anywhere here"

The man grabbed her wrist and started to pull her towards the exit.

"Let go of me!"

As she started to scream, a man about her age came up to them.

"What's going on here?"

"Help me!"

"None of your business"

"Please help!"

"Shut it girlie"

"Let go of her. Now!"

"Make me"

The man punched the bald guy in the stomach and pulled his arm really hard.

"Let go of me little boy!"

The man started to twist his arm really hard.

"Please stop! Mercy!"

The man pushed him away and pulled Maria close to him.

The bald guy ran away and the man looked at Maria.

"Are you alright miss?"

"I am...um...still engaged"

"Okaaaay then"

The man started to go for the exit and Maria quickly went back to where Amanda was.

"Oh my god Maria! Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I think so"

Maria hugged her tightly and started to tell her about the mysterious man and the bald guy.

"I know I watched the whole thing"

"And you just sat there?!?"

"Yeah. Pretty much. By the way, what did you say to him when he saved you?"

"well...I...told him I was...engaged"

"Oh my god Maria! Seriously?"

"Hey! I was in shock! What did you expect?"

"I don't know, for you to kiss or something"

"Can we just go home?"

"Fine"

The girls quickly speed walked back to the car and drove home. Maria went inside and straight to her room and plopped on her bed. She quickly fell asleep and started to snore loudly.
