"Get out."

Yukan broke down. "Hic... hic... then fine! I don't want to see you again too!" She shouted. She wiped her continuously pouring tears with her finger.

She clenched her fist on something that looked somewhat like the flower I gave her, and instantly pulled it away from me, breaking the silver chain.

She placed the flower on the table beside her and screamed

"I... I can't believe I fell in love with you!"

"You don't know how much I love you! And if you don't wanna see me, then be that way!" She shouted, frustrated and sad.

"Yukan, come on...," Shigan wrapped his arms around her, and began to comfort her.

Just then, Ota, Baba, Soryu, and Mamoru entered the ghastly room.

I heard them panicking, and after a few exchanges, they left.

I fell down to the couch, and placed my head on my hands. I felt the room was cold. I can hear motes. I have never heard silence this loud.

"Ugh! Why did I do that? I'm so stupid!"

I didn't even know the reason why!

After a few hours of deep thinking, I felt exhausted. Then my phone rang loudly, startling me. I answered it and a voice shouted as if the volume is at maximum.

"Where are you?!?!" Baba yelled.

"In the penthouse." I answered in a low growl.

"Why are you still there?!"

I removed the phone from my ear, and talked to him with my phone as far away.

"Where should I be?" I asked angrily.

I entered a private room, and sat beside the sleeping Yukan. I stared at her, inwardly cursing myself about what I did.

She flinched, crying.

"Hic... mom...!" She mumbled. I was startled by her sudden mumble. "Eisuke, you're like my dad. You abandon people." Yukan added.

Yukan cried silently in the bed. She looked so vulnerable. It makes me want to love her and protect her and make her happy. I want her to be happy with me.

I am so stupid for making her cry; for making her sad.

"Hic... I hate you! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you, Ichinomiya!" She kept on repeating until she stopped crying.

"But, I love you so much that I can't possibly truly hate you." She admitted. My face broke out into a smile.

"Guh! I love and hate you, Ichinomiya! But, please be happy with Rui. Don't ever break her heart, just like how you broke mine."

That short happiness soon disappeared and was replaced with regret and pity.

'I'm so sorry, Yukan... for hurting you.' Was all I could think. I touched her cheek with my cold fingertips.

"Go away, spider-or whatever insect you are! I'm thinking!"

I let out a chuckle and slid my finger to her pink, ravishing lips. "Eeek!" She flew her eyes open and slapped my hand away.

"Hmm...? What's wrong?" I asked.

She narrowed my eyes at me, indicating she was indeed angry at me, before turning to the other side.

"Hey,"

"I'm sorry, Yukan. I shouldn't have pushed you." I apologized.

"Hic... go back to the penthouse, Rui's probably waiting for you there."

I went to the other side of the bed to talk to her face to face.

"I'm sorry. I am truly sorry." I murmured.

She closed her eyes, sighing, then said "Okay, I'm sorry too that... I pushed myself to you. Uh... I'm sorry for kissing you. I just loved you so much, but I won't bother you and Rui, anymore, if that makes you happy." She forced herself to smile.

My gaze dropped on the floor, saying "What abou-?"

"Oh, and the proposal is over. I can't work in this condition-I mean, my condition emotionally... and physically." She cut me off.

"I-!"

"Hey, Yukan... brought you some gifts!" Rui said, entering the room. She placed the gifts beside Yukan and smiled.

Rui noticed me and asked "Hm? Eisuke? Why are you here?"

"I wa-."

"Yukan, are you alright now?" Rui turned to Yukan. She didn't let me answer and that was annoying.

"Are you crying?" Rui added.

I shifted my gaze on Yukan.

"No, I'm not."

"Yes, you are. Why?" Rui insisted.

"It's no-." I covered her mouth before she could finish saying anything.

I spoke "She's crying because she's losing the one she loves."

"Who?" Rui asked, curiously.

"Him." We all turned to where the voice came from.

"Shigan, what are you doing here?" Asked Rui.

"Just telling the truth." Shigan said, then came closer to Yukan and touched her cheek.

"I love you, Yukan. I don't want to see you hurt. Please love who you want to love. You can't force yourself... to love someone you when you really don't."

Yukan started to cry harder. "Shigan, I'm... hic... sorry." She muttered, hugging him tightly.

"I love you, too." She said. I flinched, and I clenched my fists, holding back my jealousy as much as possible.

I can't let him have her. I am the only one capable of loving her truly. ... because... she's my soulmate. And... I love her.

My cheeks flushed carnation pink.

"But only as a friend-nothing more." I added. I let out a sigh of relief.

"I know that. So please don't ignore Eisuke-this selfish, arrogant, but loving guy."

I tried my best not to punch him, and it was pretty hard.

"Yes, but he doesn't love--even like-- me back. He loves Rui." She said.

Shigan smiled, and was about to kiss he, but before he could, I grabbed his collar, stopping him from kissing the love of my life.

"We-we-we-wait! So you're saying that Shigan loves Yukan and Yukan loves you and you love me?" Rui asked me, puzzled.

"Pretty much." Yukan answered, smiling bitterly.

"Is this true Eisuke?!" Rui asked, angry about it.

"Why are you so angry? You're his girlfriend, of course he loves you!" Shigan exclaimed.

"Ah... so that's what this is about...," Rui put her hand on her chin and looked down, like a moment of realization came to her.

"???" Yukan and Shigan were both puzzled on what's happening.

"So... everybody I'm sorry for causing so much trouble to all of you. Our relationship is just fake." Rui admitted.

"F-fake?" Yukan stammered with wide eyes

"Yep, fake. Eisuke tell them."

I told them the whole truth and I think it broke Yukan

"Oh...,"

"Yukan, are you... okay?" Shigan asked.

"I'm fine. I am so fine...!" She said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. She pulled the sheets away, and ran out.

I ran after her, and found her yelling outside.

"Ugh! Such perfect timing, mom!" She yelled.

"GAAAAH!!!!" She screamed, letting out all her anger. She repeated it many times till she got tired.

I can't go to her. It feels like my body won't move. I hate it! Don't be a coward, Ichinomiya!

Rain poured much harder-big, heavy raindrops that splashed on the road.

"MOM!!!" She yelled one last time, before collapsing to the road.

"Please help me... get over him...." I murmured. Ugh! Now I'm soaking wet!

"Yukan!" I finally had the courage to come to her. I buried her face in my chest.

"G-get away! Hic... you're gonna get wet...! Hic!" She demanded, pushing me away. Yukan stood up, still crying, and said

"I know I said that I'm not gonna bother you anymore, but... let me do this one last time."

Before I could say anything, she grabbed my collar and kissed me.

She pulled away, but I quickly put my hand on the back of her head, and pulled her to me, crashing my lips onto her.

"Tha-hic-nk... you...," She stammered. Her cheeks flushed pink.

"Please... go back... go back to your normal life, when I was still not in it. All I gave you was nothing but headaches and drama." She breathed an exasperated sigh.

"No, Yukan. I won't go back."

"In the past, I can live alone-without anyone interrupting me. In the present, I can't-I feel so lonely ever since I met you. I can't imagine my future if you're not in it. I love you even if you're dramatic."

"That's touching... but, fake, am I right?" She asked, hurt.

"Don't you believe me?"

"Give me one reason to do so...." She demanded.

"Because I... I love you. I won't lie to you."

"Prove it!"

I pulled her to me, devouring her with a deep, passionate kiss-only true love could give.

"Do you believe me now?" I asked, slightly nervous, but it didn't show on my face.

*silence*

She smiled and kissed me on the lips.

"I'll take that as a yes." I was about to pull her into a kiss, but...

"Wait! You had your kisses for today, wait until tomorrow." She pushed my chest.

"If that's what you want," I said.

"Heehee...,"

"Hey Yukan, is that your dad over there?" I pointed somewhere. She followed where I was looking at, saying "Where?"

I gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Too bad, he already left," I teased.

"Oh, Eisuke about the proposal..., I'll do it-now that I'm alright, haha!" She forced a laugh.

She really can't lie to people. Heh, she's hopeless.

"Good. I have a new proposal to make." I said, folding my arms.

"Hm? Two proposals at a time, what a challenge."

"Heh, this is easy to do. You'll just say one word."

"???"

I kneeled down, saying "I wanted to ask your hand for marriage, but... let's take it slow. So will you be my girlfriend-for real?"

She smiled and answered "Proposal accepted,"

I stood up, her hands still on mine, and kissed her on the lips. I slowly opened her hand and placed the silver flower on it.

"Huh?"

"Don't you dare lose it, Yukan. It really hurt me when you gave this back."

"Oh," She murmured.

"Yukan...,"

"Hm?"

"I heard you repeating my surname, while you were in the hospital." I changed the subject.

"Wha-? No, I didn't do that!" Yukan blushed.

"Really? Why are you blushing?"

"I-!" She was indeed flustered.

"Don't worry, if you really want my surname that bad, you can beg for it."

"What? Are you saying I'm the one who'll propose?! No way!" She exclaimed, eyebrows furrowed.

"Don't get too worked up! I was just kidding. I wouldn't let you do that, idiot!" I explained.

"Tsk!"

"Yukan Ichinomiya..., I like it." I whispered. I pulled her by the waist and locked her on my arms.

"Your surname will change soon...," I whispered, and kissed her forehead.
