"Bye mom. You don't have to walk with me up to the door!" I pleaded to my mom. When you're the new girl in high school, it's pretty embarrassing when your mom walks into school with you.
"Fine! I give in! See you later honey," My mom called to me.
I laughed and walked into the school. But I was stopped.
"Awe! How cute. New girl's mommy has to drive her to school on the first day. Awwwwe!" A girl said. She was standing in a group of people.
Great. The first people that I meet are the "popular" ones.
"Hey! Don't pick on her, Ella. Give her space first," another girl said. I would have never expected so many things to be happening at once.
"I'm Angelique. Yeah,it's a weird name. I was born in France but moved here when I was 1," The nice girl said.
"I'm Elizabeth"
"Elizabeth? Honey, we aren't in the 1700s anymore," Ella yelled at us. Her little group laughed. Angelique glared at them. They laughed and walked away.
"Sorry about them. Just call me Angel. Ella and her supporters are really rude. Elizabeth is a pretty name. Vintage is beautiful," Angel hugged me.
     "Angelique isn't weird. I think that it's very pretty," I replied. I thought that we were talking about names.
     The bell rang and everyone rushed to class.
     "You must have English first, right? Come one, follow me," Angle said as she pulled my hand.
