The next morning soon arrived with a boiling sun glaring down upon the planet; the couple were the first to wake up and left the teen for their own room after gently shaking him awake, calming the boy when he began to panic due to the lack of sight. Ezra reassured the two that he was okay before they left of course. He managed to gather some clothes from the near by draws - it was indeed much more hot than usual to the point where his room felt like an oven so he chose upon some shorts and a vest top. What colors were the items of clothing?? He had no clue what so ever. Tying his shoulder length hair up into a ponytail like his Master does, the teenager decided upon not wearing socks or shoes - one, because it was just way too damn hot. And two, because he remembered reading somewhere that people can feel vibrations on the base of their feet  flowing through the floor which should tell him where people and objects were (Avatar: The Last Air Bender anyone??) - might as well see if it were true. 

Hesitantly, Ezra left his room and slowly made his way towards the Jedi council room; he was using the force to sense where the gathered masters were, allowing it to guide him in the right direction - he held onto the wall too. So far, so good. Ezra had yet to bump into anyone or anything when all of a sudden, a furry hand landed on his shoulder "you know kid, Kanan's gonna end up having a heart attack if you keep walking off on your own, right??" it was Zeb; the Padawan sighed as he stopped walking "I know, but I need to learn how to be able to walk around on my own" he was right of course. There would be times where no one was around to help the boy - he needed to learn and fast. Zeb seemed to understand this and removed his hand "okay then" he smiled, happy that his little brother was still the determined learner from before "you continue to walk on your own and I'll keep a few steps behind, if you're about to bump into someone, I'll stop you or let you know" it actually sounded like a good idea so the teen agreed - they began the process slowly. 

Zeb did as promised and stayed only three steps behind, only stepping in three times until they both finally reached the council room; they entered as the Lasat patted his friend on the back "nice work kid". A second later, Kanan, Hera and Sabine entered the council room soon after "there you are Ezra" the man sighed with relief before noticing the Lasat "did Zeb help you here??" he asked earning a nod; the teen knew his Master wouldn't like to hear that he was trying to walk alone so he decided to keep it to himself. And thankfully, Zeb seemed to think the same thing. The crew each stood in front of the Jedi council who greeted them "before we continue your training, we're going to teach you how to see through the force" Master Windu stated to the blind Padawan; this surprised the small group "he can do that?!". Ezra was immediately interested and asked how he would be able to do such a thing "open yourself to the force, you must" Master Yoda explained, much to the boys dismay - the last time he had done such a thing, he had momentarily turned to the dark side to protect his Master. 

He wasn't sure if he could risk doing such a thing again and Kanan could tell "it's okay Ez" he reassured "if anything happens that shouldn't, we'll deal with it" it didn't seem to help very much. Ezra sighed as he turned in the direction that he heard the man speak "but Kanan....what if I turn to the dark side again??" all eyes widened at the information "...what if I hurt someone??" it was a clear worry and fear of the teens and no one could blame him; Kanan placed a gentle hand on his Padawan's shoulder in a form of comfort "I promise it'll be okay Ez, you would never harm any of us". Taking a deep breath, Ezra focused on doing as the elder Master had instructed and his surroundings - blocking out any sound in the process; it took a few minutes until all of a sudden....he saw glowing objects!! 

He could sense everything and everyone. Objects and people were glowing different colors. He didn't know or understand how, but the boy seemed to somehow know what the different things and who the people were. Kanan was a dark green, Hera was a light green, Sabine was a bright yellow, Zeb was a dark purple, the council members were different shades of orange and all of the plants were a light pink. Holding his hand in front of his face, Ezra "saw" that it was glowing a dark blue....like the color his eyes used to hold. "Whoa" was all the boy could say; it made everyone smile "by your reaction, it worked??" Mast Depa asked earning a nod. They were all delighted for the teenager!! 

After this, the Masters began some tests - it was to see how Ezra would do due to the loss of his sight but with the help of the force. They asked his to point out certain objects in the room, followed by asking him to hand each Jedi their rightful lightsaber using the force - Sabine and Hera took and mixed them up. He got every single one right and passed with flying colors!! "Good work today Ezra" Master Jinn praised "you can now walk around on your own for most of the time, but no fighting or dueling just yet" the boy nodded in agreement of course, but he finally wore a happy and proud smile "thank you Masters". The crew left for some lunch as it was nearly mid day.
