What do they do?
"What should we do? There is nothing left anymore." Her subconsciousness would say, when Seoya would once again try to calm her wrecking nerves.
Can they be stopped?
"It's not our fault, Seoya. It's his, he's the culprit, the one who hurts you the most."
On a daily basis Seoya would have to contemplate in her head, think what was real and what was not. But it wasn't that easy, especially when she saw the sky crying terrifyingly.
Could love be stopped? Could it wilt, together with the flowers that Jimin was watering this very moment, hoping for them to grow beautiful and healthy once again?
Similar to how he had hoped those many times that Seoya would finally be okay. He had tried so hard to make things alright after her issues had gotten more frequent.
But could he alter nature's will? Could he change the way Seoya's mind was working against him gradually?
Seoya's P.O.V
I looked at Jimin, now standing next to the bench; the farthest one of the right, right were we had planted the flowers a few months back. I remember how they had grown, how beautifully the buds have transformed into breathtaking blooms whose color would melt away upon mere contact of water.
Now, they were slowly getting wrinkled, their sharp white color wasn't as pretty any more. Now, we could slowly see it dying, more and more every time that it rained and we couldn't protect it from getting translucent.
It seemed like Jimin cared about it a lot. But the thing was that we couldn't help it. Nature had a mind of its own, so had our love.
"Maybe we should stop trying." I whispered as I stood beside Jimin, him still crouched over the flower, looking at its thin and fragile blooms. "Maybe there is nothing we can do anymore."
For a split second, I could see Jimin's body tense up drastically as his gaze remained fixated on the ground. I could see the way he was trying to keep himself as calm as possible, his chest rising and falling at a fast rate.
"Why are you saying things like this?" His words were loud, even though his body stayed in the same, still position on the ground. "Do you only ever think about yourself? Don't you think about the other's involved?"
As my mouth fall agape to speak he abruptly rose from the ground, turning around nearly simultaneously to look into my eyes that were squinted in irritation.
"Look, everything's gonna be fine. Just don't worry, okay?" He whispered enthusiastically and almost ecstatic as he grabbed me by my shoulders.
Surely, we both weren't talking about the flower that was swaying in the light wind next to us.
"No." I said with determination. "I can see how you're hurting because of it."
"You're right, it's all your fault. Yours, yours. Only yours." He'd say.
"No!" He tightened his grip on my shoulders. "Don't say things like that, I'm not hurting because of it. I'm alright, you're alright. We are alright, Seoya."
Again; "I am okay." Again; "I am alright."; yet right now I couldn't trust any of his words. Not Again.
I grabbed his arms and tore them from my shoulders without him stopping me, our eyes still locked as tears started to gather in mine. "Book Club Meeting starts at six, I have to go."
And he didn't insist on not letting me leave for tonight.
And that day, it didn't rain from the sky above me. The only drops that ran down my skin were my tears as I stomped to the small cafe, the sky already darkened and the light blue faded by the time I arrived.
Being one of the first to arrive, I took a seat opposite to the usually shy boy who sat the farthest and most hidden corner of the cafe, his head shooting up the moment that my hand enclosed the back rest of the chair carefully.
"Hey, Kihyun." I whispered, trying to plaster a smile on my face as I dried the last tears on my cheeks with the back of my hand. "Can I take this seat?"
He nodded uneasily, his head dropping down in in between the pages of the book again, his eyes only catching small glances at me from their corners. Usually, his presence wouldn't bother me. Whenever I reached the Book Club Meeting in tears we would both sit at this exact table while I continued to cry and while he kept on reading the words on the hundreds of pages.
We usually wouldn't really attend the meeting. The others would be engrossed in their conversations about the latest books and stories while we weren't.
Usually, Kihyun would finish over a hundred pages of his book as we sat in silence. Usually, I would continue crying with my eyes fixated on the cover of the book he was reading that moment. It was really unlikely from Kihyun to comfort me, because he knew that it was already too late.
I had never expected anything from Kihyun, the way that I had never expected anything from Jimin. Jimin would usually give his whole soul and, oddly, I'd still find every smallest mistake. Kihyun would usually treat me with silence and, oddly, I'd still find it comforting and solucing.
"Did he do something to you?" He suddenly blurted out, laying down the book between the both of us. Unusually, our eyes met for longer than ever; I knew by this point that this day would be different from the others that we have spent together already.
His words were laced with honest worry and care, I could sense it. But still, when he extended his hand, I flinched away in fear.
"No." I shook my head, my head now facing my lap. "We're just in love, so in love. It hurts a lot, do not fall in love, Kihyun."

Kihyun and Seoya were still sitting in the corner of the small cafe; staring at each other deeply almost as if they could read each other's expressions.
Kihyun cracked a small smile as Seoya's head shot up again and he said those words that probably everyone around Seoya and Jimin wanted to say so many times.
But no one ever dared to.
"Seoya, why don't you stop loving him? Why doesn't he stop loving you?"
And Seoya said those words that she wanted to say so many times, although she could never overcome the fear of hearing those words from across her very own lips. It was scary, now that she finally heard them echoing through the small corner as they had casually formed on her lips.
"Because he doesn't see the real problem, he still sees me as the perfectly normal human that he'd love unconditionally, whereas I am torn between loving and despising him because of this problem."
"I see." Kihyun heaved a heavy sigh as he looked back into Seoya's eyes. "Maybe we can lessen the pain?"
Could they really? But how?
-I'm back at it again lol. Thoughts?
What do you think Kihyun is trying to do? Is he good or is he bad?
Btw that's him in the media bar don't be confused
