Jackson woke up to much screaming. He sat up and looked around. A person with short black and red hair and bright blue eyes was hanging upside down from a tree. Everest was hyperventilating while May tried to calm her down.

"Hi there! I'm Meep. I'm afraid that I gave May quite the shock," the stranger said, waving upside down at Jackson. "Oh and that's Tenny, right behind you."

Jackson looked over his shoulder to see a girl with huge brown wings. The girl waved at him and then started scolding Meep for something.

"How did you get here?" He heard Michael ask the girl in the tree.

"With my key of course!" Meep said as she dropped down. Jackson spun around and looked hard at her.

"How do you know about keys?" He asked, quite certain that there was a suspicious look on his face.

"Yes yes, was that really necessary?" Meep muttered and then waved her hand. The world seemed to fluidly shift back a few minutes and Jackson sat up again.

Everest was in hysterics and May was attempting to calm her. A young girl with red and black hair was standing against a tree beside another girl with wings who was glaring at her.

"Meep! You can't just go messing with the timeline!"

The punk looking one waved her hand dismissively. "Tenny the timeline will be fine. Look they don't even remember anything!"

Jackson grabbed a fallen tree branch and pointed it at them while scrambling to his feet.

"Oh dear." Meep muttered as Jackson swung the heavy wood at them. She held up a palm and all five main Wonderlandians froze in place. Tenny smacked her on the arm.

"What happened to lying low and finding Maxlar???" Tenny screeched and Meep shrugged.

"Umm...writers block?"

Tenny let out a huff and walked away, muttering and rubbing her forehead. Jackson watched as Meep followed her. The two sat down just out of earshot and appeared to be having a slight argument. It ended with Meep stroking Tenny's wings and them returning.

Meep waved her hand and Jackson felt his body tingle and move again. He dropped the branch and glared at the girls.

"How did you get here?" He asked and Meep furrowed her eyebrows.

"Didn't I already...wait...that was before the time warp. We got here using keys and before you ask, I'm the author and that's how I know."

May suddenly let out a loud screech and they all turned to look at her.

"You're Meep!!! The Meep!!! Author Meep!!! Omg when Gabriel was here we were talking about you and how much we wanted to meet you this is a literal dream come true!!!"

"Oh dear." Tenny muttered as a devlish smile crossed her friends face.

"Why yes indeed, it is I, Meep the Magnificent in the flesh!" Meep twirled and bowed low, a sparkly purple fedora appearing out of no where as Meep's clothing changed dramatically. She was now dressed in a sparkling purple and black classic magician's outfit with a bright red bowtie.

"Don't you dare!" Tenny shouted as Meep turned her gaze to the winged girl. One wink later and Tenny was dressed in the same outfit, only her bowtie was blue.

"We are Tenny and Meep, the author and the author's best friend/official writing partner! And we are here because of Tenny's character Maxxie!" Meep said dramatically. Tenny snorted with laughter as Meep started doing high kicks around the group.

"So," Meep was suddenly floating horizontally in the air, "if you could point us in the direction of where you last saw him, that would be great!"

"That way," Katherine said shakily, pointing towards the forest.

Jackson sat down next to Michael, who had been silent the whole time. He lay his head on his shoulder, stifling a yawn.

"Thank you and goodbye to y'all!!! You probably won't see me again until the sequel!" Meep shouted as they set off for the forest, still dressed in the ridiculous costumes.

Time shifted again and suddenly Jackson was waking up. He had the strangest sense of déjà vú as he looked over at the forest.

"Anyone else get the feeling there should be more people here?" May asked as she yawned.
