Michael
Hey so I know I don't really do authors notes in the beginning, but I kinda need to for this one. To really understand what's happening in this chapter you have to read Lucifer's Feelings Are Out Of Control by my wonderful friend FeelzMaster
You don't absolutely need to, but it will definitely be easier to understand because its a crossover chapter.

Michael stood in the forest. Maxlar had made an appearance again, and Jackson had chased after him into the purple door. The others stood in a group behind him.
He turned to face them. "So. Until Jackson returns, we'll just have to...do...other stuff. Like building up the castle again."
"If he comes back." Whitney muttered. Michael glared at her. "Don't think like that."
Whitney scoffed. "That's Maxlar he went with. I doubt he's still alive. Wherever that stupid door leads, Jackson's not coming back from."
Michael shook his head. "Jackson will come back."
"I had to bury my boyfriend yesterday. All because of that purple eyed bitch. If we're lucky, we'll get his clothes back to bury." Whitney began to walk away from the silently watching group.
Duchess stepped forward. "Whitney we need to stick together or none of us will survive this." The twins, Twiddledum and Twiddledee nodded from behind her.
Whitney rolled her eyes, but reluctantly returned to the rest. "So what now? We build up the castle and hope Jackson returns?" Michael nodded.
They began to walk down the forest path when the door appeared a little ways ahead of them. Jackson and Maxlar fell through, along with two other men.
"Jackson!" Michael yelled and ran towards them. He stopped, noticing Maxlar standing up.
"YOU JACKASSES! I'LL KILL YOU!" Maxlar shouted, as the blond haired man grabbed the purple key away and began running towards them. The golden haired person also ran after the first man, dodging a red sword that had appeared in Maxlars hand.
"ONLY I CAN USE THAT KEY! SO IF YOU WANT BACK USING THAT YOU NEED ME!" Maxlar screeched and the blondie stopped by the group. "Shit" he cursed softly.
Michael watched as Maxlar cackled and the two newcomers took off running into the forest.
"I'LL KILL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!" Maxlar shouted and the Wonderlandians followed the two of them.
They ran for what seemed like forever, until Maxlars screaming could no longer be heard. Michael caught up with Jackson and they talked quietly as they ran.
"Who are those people?" Michael asked, motioning towards the blond haired man and golden haired young adult.
"Lucifer and Gabriel" Jackson panted out. Michael gave him an 'are you kidding' look.
"They're fallen angels or something. I wasn't paying much attention. I was more focused on getting back here to Wonderland. But they are from another dimension, I remember that much." Jackson said, trying to even out his breathing.
"Weird. I'll talk to them when we stop." Michael said, looking curisouldy ahead. Jackson nodded at him and they continued to run.
They finally stopped, right around the mushroom forest. Michael glanced around. The place still seemed weird to him.
Everyone stood for a moment, catching their breath. Michael walked up to the blond guy. "What does Jackson mean when he said that you're from another dimension?" He asked.
The golden haired one pulled out a lollipop and popped it in his mouth. "He means that me and Luci are from another dimension."
Michael rolled his eyes. "Obviously but how did you get here from there?"
The blond one, Lucifer, said "It was that door of Maxlar's. We fell through it." He shuddered. "It was horrible. Like an cold darkness everywhere, and spiders up your back. We must have been in there for a few seconds, because I looked out into the blackness and I could have sworn I saw other colored doors but I might have imagined it."
Gabriel, the golden haired guy, looked at Lucifer curiously. "Really? I saw them too. I wonder where they lead."
"Other dimensions" Michael muttered. "Awesome!" Gabriel said excitedly.
"So Maxlar's key is purple, and the door is purple too, so the color of the door is what dimension you go to?"
Lucifer shook his head. "No because only Maxlar can use the purple key. So maybe everyone has a different color key and door?"
Jackson walked up to them. "Hey everyone is gathering by the giant mushroom in the middle." The four of them joined the other Wonderlandians.
"How 'bout we introduce ourselves?" May suggested. Michael nodded. "That's a good idea."
Gabriel pulled his lollipop out of his mouth and pointed it at Lucifer. "That's Lucifer, I'm Gabriel, we're both angels from a different dimension."
May's eyes widened. "Lucifer and Gabriel??? OMG I THOUGHT YOU TWO LOOKED FAMILIAR! YOU'RE FROM SUPERNATURAL! AJFBKWKQNFLLWJEKFKDNEKDJNFKFKFKFKFKKFKFF!!!! IT ACTUALLY EXISTS???? CAN I GO BACK TO YOUR DIMENSION WITH YOU???"
The Wonderlandians and angels stared at her. Jackson slowly asked, "Wait, May, you know these two?"
"Yea they're from the TV show Supernatural, its my favorite show, but its just a show, not real! I can't believe this! I wonder if Harry Potter and Percy Jackson live in an alternate dimension too." She said excitedly. "Wait wait wait, this means other dimensions exist, and since I found fandom characters, that means," May said slowly, "PATRICIA YOU'RE BACK IN ALICE-LAND SO I KNOW YOU CANT HEAR ME BUT YOU OWE ME $20!!"
Whitney took a few steps back from the fangirl.
"So I'm on a TV show? Awesome!" Gabriel said. Lucifer rolled his eyes at him. Michael stepped forward. "So May, you know these people, any idea how to get them back their land?"
May shook her head. Damnit. I thought fangirls knew everything about their fandoms but apparently not. Michael sighed. "So does anyone have an idea of how to get them home?"
Everyone exchanged glances but no one spoke up. "Well, until then, I guess we'll stay here." Michael glanced around. "Hang on, where's Jackson?"
He spun around searching for his blue haired friend. He saw a figure standing at the edge of the clearing, about to reach out and touch a mushroom. "Wait it might be dangerous!" Michael shouted but it was too late.
Jackson's fingers had brushed the stem of the mushroom and a bright purple light enveloped him. Michael and the others ran over as Jackson collapsed.
Michael slid to his knees next to Jackson. His eyes swept over him. Suddenly Jackson's eyes flew open and he gasped.
"I remember."
Michael's eyes widened. "What?" He asked.
Jackson looked at him with a joyful expression. "I remember. I remember it all. Wonderland, us, the-" his face darkened. "The destruction."
A few tears slipped down Jackson's face as Michael stared at him in shock. "Oh Katherine I'm so sorry."
Katherine shrugged. "Whatever you remember, its okay. It was a long time ago."
"What's going on?" Lucifer asked. "What do you mean by you remember? Did you have amnesia?"
Michael let out a choked laughed. "Yea I guess you could say that. You two might want to sit down while we explain."
<le time skip brought to you by my panic attack over my sister feeling like throwing up so I'm hiding out in my room and blasting Hamilton and trying to calm down>
"Wow so Alice-land is like our dimension, only we're a TV show instead of people?" Gabriel asked.
Michael nodded and May pushed past him to talk to Gabriel.
"See I actually have a theory about this. Other dimensions exist, that much is obvious now, and imagination is the key to interdimensional travel. Cause imagination is infinite. The author is using her imagination as she writes this. Meep actually is the one who first thought of this and had quite a lengthily discussion with her friend about it last year at recess."
Everyone gave her weird looks, except for Jackson and Michael cause they're awesome and know what she's talking about and damn I'm breaking the fourth wall a lot sorry. May waved a hand dismissively.
"Forget it. Its the wall. Anyways, think of it like this. Imagination is a map and dimensions are islands in the sea of the space time continuum. Does that make sense? Don't care if you don't get it, moving on now. So if we can harness the power of imagination, then we can achieve interdimensional travel. I've talked to Cora about this and she agrees wih me. She got through that door into the other land with this button key. And-" her eyes widened and she gasped. "What if that's what Maxlar's key is? What if he somehow trapped imagination into a key?"
"Or" Gabriel said standing up. "He simply found it. There were other doors in that dark passage, I saw them myself, and Luci thinks that everyone gets a different colored door and key."
"But how do people know what color their key is?" May asked. Gabriel thought for a moment.
"Hang on, there's this thing called synesthesia, and a form of it is colors for names and personalities, maybe that's how?" Deal with it I'm putting it in the story its actually really cool.
May shook her head. "No cause its different for everyone." Everest nodded and spoke up. "Yea May is right. I have synesthesia, and so does Michael. We disagree on almost everyone's colors."
Michael turned red. "Everest I thought I asked you not to mention it! You know that I hate it. It makes me too different." And it makes it hard to connect with people
Jackson glanced over at him. "It sounds cool. What color is my name?"
Michael glared at him. "Blue. And no, not cause you're the Blue Caterpillar, everyone with the name Jackson is blue."
"No, he's red. Jackson is red." Everest said. Michael threw a hand in her direction. "See?" He exclaimed.
May nodded. "So that throws out the synesthesia theory about colors, maybe it's favorite colors?"
Gabe slowly shook his head. "I don't think so. Color preference is always changing.... Maybe your aura? Like in Hinduism or whatever it is, you have an aura and like psychics can see it, and everyone has a different color. Like a soulmates thing, where your aura matches?"
May shrugged. "Possibly. Hey Michael, Everest, what's synesthesia like?" Michael glared at her. "Everest can tell you. I'm going to take a walk."
He began walking off, leaving the group staring after him. He heard a slight muttering and walked faster. He shoved his hands into his pockets and his tail slashed behind him as he burried himself in memories.
"Daddy!" He was 5 years old and had just come home from his first day of kindergarten. "Daddy the other kids don't like my colors!"
His father looked at him curiously. "Do you mean they don't like your crayons?"
Michael shook his head. "They don't like my colors!"
His father picked him up. "What colors? Can you explain?"
Michael nodded. "You are orangey yellow. Mommy is light purple."
His father gave his mother, who was standing in the corner of the kitchen, a concerned look. He looked back at Michael. "Can you tell me more about these colors? What color is your bed?"
Michael shook his head. "Its words, not things. My bed is blue because of the blanket, but bed is orange and red."
His father frowned. "Michael I don't want you to talk about these colors anymore. Okay?"
Michael shrugged. "Okay Daddy." His father set him down and he ran back to his room.
_
He was 7 now, and had been asked to describe the smell of rain for a school assignment. He hadn't been able to find the words, so he simply wrote "green and gray and a sharpness like soft blue fur"
His father had gotten a call from his teacher and was now pacing around the kitchen while Michael sat in a chair, sipping apple juice.
"Michael I told you to never talk about the colors again." He said, a sharp edge on his voice.
"But Everest does it too! But her colors are different." His father frowned. "I don't care, you aren't to do it anymore."
Michael sighed and nodded. "Okay."
He left the room and began to work on his vocabulary homework. He had a spelling test tomorrow.
What - green white red gray
Lots - red blue gray indigo
Paper - purple red purple red green
He continued like this for the rest of his words, memorizing the color order of each word.
-
10 years old now. He and Everest had gotten into an argument over the color of Jackson's name. They both sat in the principals office.
"Now, do you both understand why you are here?" Mr. Parks asked.
"Yea." Michael muttered. "Cause Everest can't accept that Jackson is blue."
"No he's red!" The girl shouted.
The principal raised an eyebrow. "Can you both combine your colors and make his name purple, perhaps?"
"No he isn't purple!" They both shouted together. The principal tilted his head. "Okay you two are going to come with me."
The three of them went down the hall to the nurses office. Michael and Everest bickered the whole way down. They sat down in the plastic chairs as the nurse emerged from her office.
Mr. Parks talked to the nurse quietly for a moment. She came over to them after he finished. "So Jackson is blue for you, and red for you?" She asked them.
The two ten year olds nodded. "Hmmm. It's possible they are autistic. Or synesthetic. But synesthesia is so rare, its doubtful that's it. I can order a few tests, talk to the parents, figure something out."
Michael frantically shook his head. "I'm not allowed to do it! Don't tell my dad!" He nearly screamed. The nurse frowned.
"What do you mean?" She asked. Michael looked nervous. "My dad doesn't like the colors. He told me not to do it anymore." He whispered. The nurse gave them a thoughtful look.
"Well if your dad doesn't want you to it, then maybe you should stop doing it. Do you think you can try to stop the colors?"
Michael shrugged. "Maybe." He said. She asked Everest the same thing, and the little girl nodded. "Sure I can." She said.
The nurse released them, and as soon as the adults couldn't hear them anymore, Everest whispered to him, "I'm not stopping it, are you?"
Michael nodded. "Its weird, and it makes me different. I'm not going to talk about the colors anymore."
Everest gave him a hurtful look. "Well alright then. Throw away the thing that makes you special, see if I care."
-
13 and Michael was doing a school assignment. He was memorizing the amendments of the US constitution. Michael paced around his room.
"4, purple. Searches and Seizures, yellow lavender. 5, blue, that's, that's, oh god, how does it go again? Red green, teal, gray green, yellow orange, pink, purple, yellow lavender, blue...blue...blue...what is the damn fifth amendment???"
"Michael?"
His head snapped up and he stopped dead in his tracks. His father stood in the doorway, a shocked look crossing his face.
"Were, were you doing your," he voice dropped to a whisper, "your color thing?"
Michael didn't respond, only staring wide eyed at the man. "I-I-I- I'm so sorry Dad." He stammered out.
Anger flashed in his eyes. His father stepped into the room. "I told you. You were to stop it. Never do it again. It makes you strange." He said in a deadly low voice, spitting the last word out.
Michael's heart pounded. He hung his head. "I know. I tried. But I can't stop it." His eyes flickered to his matress, where his razor was hidden. "I hate it. I tried, I tried so hard. But it won't leave." A tear rolled down his face.
A hand grabbed his chin tightly and forced it up. Michael stood into the furious eyes of his father. "You didn't try hard enough. Now get into your football uniform, and get your weirdo ass down to the car, you have a game tonight. And stop crying, you look like a sissy."
His father dropped his face and left the room. Michael took a shuddery breath and looked into the mirror. A slight bruise was forming along his jawline. He pulled up his floorboard that hide a pile of makeup he had gotten from Katherine.
He dabbed a little foundation over it, concealing the marks. He pulled on his uniform that he hated with a passion and left the house.
I will be normal.
Michael heard footsteps behind him and he turned around. Jackson was jogging to catch up with him. "Jackson what is it?" He asked as he looked at the ground.
Jackson stood in front of him and gently lifted his chin. "Hey, for the record, I think synesthesia is cool. I don't know why you hate it, but to me, its awesome."
Michael gave him a sad smile and sniffled. Jackson smiled widely at him. Michael sniffled again and then burst into tears. Jackson hugged him tightly and the two of them stood in the forest as the author squealed in another dimension and began to cry cause she's gonna have to harm these precious babies later cause you know, angst.

Wow long chapter. So um yea, sorry about the fourth wall breaks. And y'all have no clue how hard to was to write Jackson's name as red. I mean, RED. *shudders* Ugh no no no. Jackson is definitely blue. That's why I made him the Blue Caterpillar. Anyways, see y'all for the next chapter. That's the one where Luci and Gabe leave Wonderland. I would have put that in this chapter, but I just feel kinda like that was a good place to stop.
