Chapter 24
Hans' POV
I watched Tadashi wave goodbye to Elsa and walk towards the boys' dorms.
I sauntered over to her, now that she was alone.
"Elsa?" She frowned at me. "You." Her tone dripped with hate. "How do you know my name?"
"I have my ways." I shrugged.
"You tried to ruin my sister's date." She accused angrily.
"Yes, I admit I did." I smirked.
"What is wrong with you!?" She screamed. "What's wrong with you?" I smirked. "I just wanted to have a conversation, but seeing the way this is going, I'll get straight to the point."
She looked at me confused before I said, "I want you to convince Anna that Kristoff is a bad person, and that she should go out with me."
She laughed and I frowned. "Now, why would I do that? I don't lie to my sister." She smirked.
"Wrong answer." I pushed her up against the side of the building.
"You will do as I say, got it?" I sternly said.
"Hans! Let go of me!" She struggled.
"I said, 'you will do as I say,' got it?!" I snarled.
"No!" She protested, failing to push me off.
I tightened my grip on her arms, and she whimpered in pain.
"Do I have to repeat myself?!" I shouted in her face. "You will tell Anna exactly-"
I screamed in agony as I saw that my hand was sealed to the side of the school with ice.
And then, the other hand, and my feet.
Ice? In October?!
"She won't be doing anything you say." a deep voice said from behind me.
I watched Elsa slip out from under me while smirking.
"Who the heck are you?" I growled.
"Me?" He laughed. "I'm Jack Frost. Otherwise known as, your worst nightmare."
I grunted as I heard them walk away. Great. Just great.
How long until this melts?
Elsa's POV
I smiled at my savior, Jack.
Thank goodness he had been there. He saved me from that idiot, Hans.
"Thanks, Jack" I smiled. "No problem." He grinned. "I can't have ugly morons beating up my friends."
I laughed. "Besides, you're a woman. That's no way to treat you."
I frowned and glared at him.
"Elsa, I didn't mean it like that!" He apologized. "I mean, I know you can take care of yourself, I was just saying that he shouldn't treat women- um, people like that!"
I sighed and let it go. I knew he didn't mean it.
"It's okay, Jack." I smiled, and he smiled back.
"Did you uh, want to go grab some ice cream with me?" He asked, sounding kind of nervous.
I raised an eyebrow at him, confused.
His eyes widened. "I mean, not as a date or anything, I just meant like, as friends!"
I laughed, "Just making sure you're not betraying Rapunzel." I said nudging his shoulder.
He glared and stuck his tongue out, "No."
"Alright then, Mr. Frost. I would love to go get some ice cream with you." I giggled.
He smiled and we headed towards the ice cream parlor.
---------
I smiled as I walked in. 'What's the Scoop?' What a weird but cute name.
"What do you want to get?" Jack asked.
"Cookies and cream." I smiled.
"Can I get two cookies and cream?" Jack said licking his lips.
The employee handed us our ice cream and I fumbled around in my purse for money.
I glared at Jack as he placed money on the counter. "What are you doing?" I hissed.
"Paying for you." he smirked.
"You know I hate you, right." I said punching his shoulder.
"Nah, it's Opposite Day." he whispered in my ear. "Wouldn't that mean it's not Opposite Day?" I giggled when he frowned.
We sat down at a small table and started eating our ice cream.
Jack was quiet for a while until he said, "You know, Elsa, I really like hanging out with you."
I almost choked on my ice cream. "You do?"
"Yeah, we should hang out more, get to know each other better." He smiled.
"What makes you think I want to hang out with you?" I grinned.
"I'm just that awesome." He grinned. "Besides, who else is gonna protect you from Hans?" He smirked taking a bite of his ice cream.
"I don't know....Maybe, Tadashi?"
Jack's eyes got wide as he started to choke on an Oreo.
"Woah! Jack! Are you okay?" I asked rubbing his back. "Yeah," he said hoarsely.
"Who's Tadashi?" He smirked. "Your boyfriend?"
"No!" I practically yelled, causing everyone to look at us. I smiled nervously and they went back to their food.
"He's just a friend." I answered truthfully.
"Really?" He smirked again. "Do you like him?"
"Yes, no....maybe so." I grinned.
"Someone's blushing!" He said poking my cheeks.
I shook my head. "No I'm not!" I denied, blushing harder.
He continued to laugh, and I glared. "I don't like him!" I protested.
"Sure." He smirked.
I huffed and sat back with my arms crossed. "Aw, come on, Elsa!" Jack said. "You can tell me!"
I shook my head, "I only tell my best friends secrets like that, and I only have one best friend, Anna doesn't count."
"Then would you like to be my best friend?" He asked me.
I grinned, "Fine." I laughed. "Promise not to tell?"
"Cross my heart, hope to die." I giggled at his childishness.
"I do have a crush on Tadashi." I said embarrassedly. "I knew it!" He grinned.
"So, when's he gonna ask you out?" He smirked. "We've been on two, 'dates.' " I explained using air quotes.
"I'm just not sure if he likes me like that."
Jack frowned. "The Love Doctor is in!"
He said, making me giggle.
"Really?" I asked playfully. "Where is he?"
Jack stuck his tongue out at me, "I'm
the Love Doctor." He explained.
"First question, did he initiate these dates?" He asked. I nodded.
"Okay, does he blush around you?" I nodded again with a smile.
"Lastly, does he sometimes seem at a loss for words, or does he stammer?" I nodded for the third time and jumped at his actions.
He jumped up from the table yelling, "He's got the Love Bug! Someone get the antidote!"
Everyone turned in their chairs to see what the commotion was, but Jack didn't care.
I, on the other hand, was completely embarrassed.
Jack threw away our empty ice cream cartons and pulled me outside.
------
"So, Doc?" I asked, as we walked back to campus. "What do you think Tadashi will do next?"
"Well," he smiled deviously. "I think he'll ask you to the Halloween Bash next week!"
I laughed, I'd completely forgotten about the school dance in honor of the holiday.
"What are you dressing as?" he asked me.
"No idea!" I laughed. "Yeah, me neither." He sighed. "But hey, you'd make a killer Snow Queen!"
I laughed. "You'd make an awesome jester for my snow castle." I joked.
"Why thank you, m'lady." He said, giving me a clumsy bow and a silly dance, making me giggle.
--------
"Goodnight, Jester!" I waved to Jack from my dorm window on the third floor.
"Goodnight to you, my Snow Queen!" He bowed and ran off with a laugh.
"So," I turned to see Vidia, my other roommate who almost never slept here.
"You're trying to steal Rapunzel's boyfriend?" She said with a tsk.
"What?" I asked. "No! He's just a friend!" I argued.
"Haha, okay. Whatever you say." She smirked. "Just stay away from him." She hissed, her smirk turning to a deadly glare.
"If anyone's stealing anyone's boyfriend, it's going to be me." She growled.
The door opened to reveal an angry Merida. "Yer plannin' on stealin' Punzie's boyfriend?" She glared at Vidia.
"So what?" Vidia said, "Why do you care, Lion-Locks?"
I backed away slowly as Merida's whole face turned red from anger. For once, Vidia actually looked scared.
No one, insults Merida's hair.
"Ye Witch!" She screamed at Vidia. "I thought fairies were supposed ta be nice?! I am not ashamed to admit I was wrong!"
"You are the rudes' person I 'ave eva met!" She yelled throwing a pillow at Vidia.
Vidia just stood there, a look of shock and terror on her face.
"Yer lucky the school has rules! Or else I would kick yer prissy behind back ta whateva tree ya came from!" Merida warned.
Vidia picked up a magazine. "Geez, Scottish-Bum." I heard her say under her breath.
Merida turned to say something again, but I popped a chocolate into her mouth before she could say anything she'd regret.
She calmed down and sat to do her homework instead, and I sighed.
Couldn't she have stayed with her stupid friends any longer?
