Talno's eyes opened slightly, watching the blur of shapes above him. A woman plunged a needle into his arm, extracting his blood. The woman covered it with a soft fabric and went off. Once Talno's vision grew clear, he attempted to stand up, but found he was restrained to his uncomfortable bed. Why hadn't  the dragon killed him? He pondered.

The woman walked through the halls and entered a room with a variety of lab equipment. She placed the blood sample in a machine and tapped a few buttons on a console. She smiled as she looked at the juicy information on the screen. This DNA belonged to Talno Remus, presumed dead for eight years.

An alarm clock blared, groans could be heard throughout the luxuriously furnished room. A light brown hand reached for the clock and turned it off. He rose slowly, stretching and yawning. He pressed a button to summon the servant that gave him the daily news, and pulled up his leopard underwear, making a slapping sound on his pot belly. He heard a knock on his door and opened it with a stern look on his face that he always used with his subordinates. The servant walked in meekly and bowed "Good morning master Guzman" the servant said in a strong but shaky voice. "What news do you bring!" Guzman barked. The servants expression didn't change even with this hostile tone; Years spent with Guzman had deadened him inside. "We have found a survivor of camp C-61 named Talno Remus." Guzman sat in a dazed silence, his eyes staring off into the distance. "Where is he" he said with a psychotic daze in his eyes and voice. "The coordinates are in your computer sir" the servant said, stepping back cautiously. "Get out!" Guzman screamed at the servant. The servant bowed quickly and clumsily as he sprinted out the door. "How could I let one of those vermin live!?" Guzman said quietly to himself. Guzman grabbed a knife from his pocket and stabbed the wall, pretending that it was Talno.
