You wiped away the tears as they came, trying and failing to show a strong, stoic face. You didn't want Aoba to see you as the same childish crybaby, but you just couldn't help it. Joyful tears flowed and blissful giggles emerged from between sniffles. You ran at Aoba, full speed, and plowed into him, nearly knocking him over. He hugged you back as you buried your face in his chest. He was a lot taller than you imagined... or you were just shorter than you thought. Nevertheless, you were happy. You squeezed Aoba with all your might, absorbing the warmth he radiated, and hoping this moment would never end.
Just then, the shop door opened and the embrace came to an abrupt and premature stop. You stepped back and turned around to glare at the customer who had ruined your moment. Your ferocious face suddenly turned into one of shock as you saw who stepped in.
"Dammit," you mumbled under your breath.
A delighted, husky voice rang out, "I see you found the shop!"
