So that's it. I'm moving away from all my friends,my school,and my home. My dad recently got a new job in Missouri, so we had to move from California to Missouri. "Jamie,aren't you going to come help me with these boxes?!" My mom yells from downstairs. "Just a second!" I yell. I go downstairs, look around at the empty kitchen,sad to be leaving. I help my mom lift the last of the boxes into the moving truck. My mom and dad go to the car,and I follow. "Belton,Missouri, here we come!" My dad said excitedly." We started driving. "This is gonna be one hell of a ride." I thought. After a while, we stopped at parking lot. My parents wanted to save money,so we're sleeping in the car. I was not excited about hearing that. The next morning,we set off early on our journey. I put in my headphones, trying to block the rest of the world out. My best friend was texting me,saying how much she missed me. I miss Emma.
