(A/N) Am i the only one who thinks Gajeel is awesome? Who am i kidding, if your reading this, of course you do.  -Warning, dumb fight ahead :( - 

"SHADOW DRAGON ROAR!" You yelled and Laxus jumped back. He  smirked and said "Now it getting interesting. THUNDER PALACE!" as he said this, three of them appeared around you. You froze, having an unwanted flash back...

-Flash back

"Who are you?" Your mother called as you held on to her arm. "Not important. THUNDER PALACE!" "(Y/N) RUN!" As you ran you heard them go off, and saw your mother fall. 

-end

Laxus smirked. "You messed with MY guild, wrong choice." He said. He set them off. 

Gajeel PoV

I stood frozen, in shock and horror.  when Laxus summon the Thunder Palace i tried to force my body to move,  but it wouldn't. "You messed with MY guild, wrong choice." He said, as they went off, he laughed. But then a large black dragon claw lashed out at him. My eyes bulged out, there was a small, black dragon with black eyes. It was only a little taller then me. The dragon claw caught his jacket, ripping it. Then the rest of the smoke cleared and i saw (Y/N), her eyes were pitch black. Her skin had  black scales outlining her delicate face and frame. Her mouth was twisted up into an evil smirk, her canines had grew to a shocking length. Almoust like a vampire. Her eyes were glued to Laxus. He stumbled back, surprised. 

"Oh, surprised that i have a dragon summon spell?" She said in a growl. She leaned back, reaching behind her. The dragon mimicked her, its wings bending backwards in copy of her own arms. "SHADOW DRAGON WING ATTACK!" She yelled and then sent her hands forward. Laxus ducked, then swung around and moved to hit her in the chin, she raised her arm and the dragon raised its wing dodging the attack. Laxus expected her to do this, and he jumped the other way and instead hit her with lightning. She jumped back, the dragon followed.  "THUNDER PALACE!" He shot lightning at her head, knocking her out. She fell to the ground, the dragon vaporized. He set the spell off, she lay there in the center. She slowly stood. "I ain't dead yet." She spat out.

Normal PoV

"I ain't dead yet." You spat out. Large demon shadows emerged from your back. Taking the form of ungodly things. The all held a sword, one stepped forward and hissed at you.

'Me want kill now.'

Another stepped up and hissed at you.

'eat! Hungry!'

'Food'

'yum'

'ME HUNGRY'

"Shh, if you want to eat..." You began as your eyes slowly began to turn red. Your body had a dark aura around it. You see if you get too angry, you can summon a dragon. If you get pissed you can summon hell spawns. Get raged you can take the form of a demon. Now you had jagged wings and red eyes. A tail formed and ended in a vicious spike. You walked towards Laxus. "Than eat him." You finished and pointed at Laxus. One of the demons let out a roar, one hissed, one growled, then one jumped up and onto Laxus. He tried to kill them, hitting them with lightning and his fists. But it didn't work. 

'FOOD!'

One hissed and tried to jump on Gajeel. Your tail flicked towards it and it jumped back, hissing. 

"Not him." You commanded. The demon growled and moved to fight you. "Don't." You warned. It clawed at you and hissed. 

'He is mine! I want to EAT!' 

it hissed. Now the demons you had spawn turned their attention to you hissing and growling. You raised an eyebrow.   "Oh? You want to fight me?" You asked. Laxus took this chance and decided to run. Gajeel stood frozen. 

'KILL!' 

One hissed and jumped towards Gajeel. Your tail flicked towards him again, he hissed and you spoke. 

"Return." They all hissed in protest and disappeared. Your normal eyes came back and your wings and tail left. You returned to normal. You looked at Gajeel and waved. "Sup." You said. He looked at you, his eyes wide.  He opened his mouth to speak

"So... can i sleep at your house tonight?" 

You allowed you mouth to form into the  faintest of smiles.  "Heh, sure." 

Gajeel PoV

My heart skipped a beat. Did she... (Y/N) (L/N), A.K.A the Devil, just.... smile? She looks so pretty when she smiles. 

Whoa.

Where did THAT come from? Am i in love...with... her? 

Normal PoV 

You lead him to your house, which was just a plain house.  You were about to open the door, when it opened for you. 

"MASTER!!!!!!" One of your shadows said, it had taken the form of a dark purple haired girl, which dark blue eyes.   "I MISSED YOU!" She cried and burried her face in your chest. You raised an eyebrow. "Er, okay. Um. Get off." Your shadow did and then she saw Gajeel. "Ooh, you brought a guest home. And it's a male! Not to eat, right?" She asked. Gajeel looked at you, in which you piniched the bridge of your nose. "Does it look like his forehead says 'Eat Me'?" The shadow shook her head. You sighed and pushed past the shadow, she watched as Gajeel walked in and she slapped his butt. "Oi!" he exclaimed. You snapped your head towards the shadow, who giggled and left. You shook your head again and said "What do you want to eat?" He looked at you for a second or two. "Got any metal?" He asked. "No, not since 2 months ago. Claims its for 'safety' what rubbish." You said and saw his confused look you held your thumb to your wrist, then flicked it up. "Slash, cutting of the wrist, ya know." You said. He looked at you then suddenly he was right in front of you.  He gently grabbed your wrist, his body shuddered and he let out a shaky exhale. He brought your wrist to his face, he gently traced one of the scars. 

"Tell me. About it all, why you started to today." He said. You nodded to the couch, later bringing  in a bowl of fruit. He raised an... er gave you a confused look. "Well i don't know about you, but" You took a grape and plopped it in your mouth. "I'm hungry." You said after chewing. He smirked and grabed an apple, taking a bite he nodded for you to start your story. 

"Well... it all started when my 'mom' died. Okay hang on let me go further back. Me and my dragon..." Tear sprang to your eyes think of your dragon you shook your head and exhaled. "Me and my dragon, Tatsuo,  lived together on an Island." Another faint smile graced your lips, this time it exploded into a full on smile, making a certain dragon slayers heart stop ;). 

"Oh it was so fun! We would go and have a swim race it was awesome! He would let me fly around on his back and all that!" You said and your eyes lit up. Gajeel gave a genuine smile, he loved seeing you smile. 

But as quick as it was there, it was gone.

"But then Tatsuo... he... he..."

"Left you? Mine did the same." Gajeel said. You nodded. "I built a boat and followed any lead for him, the dark sides of things.... i gave up when i turned 13. Then i was adoptive my this nice lady, who was married. I started calling her 'mom' but i could never actually mean it when i called her...husband...'dad'. Tatsuo... he was my dad. Always will be." You swore. "then this lightning jerk, he killed them! I swear if i am ever able to get my hands on that son of a..." Sigh "Anyways, the next day i found a razor. My mind told me to do it. Common Sense told me not to. My mind won. I remember pressing the razer onto my skin. It was cold. I can still feel it, i gripped it tightly and pulled back sharply. Ha! To think i actually cried." You said and shook your head. "So, for days i continued. It became a habit. Something i couldn't live without. It was like breathing. If i don't do it, i will die." You said. "And if you do do it, you can die." Gajeel said in a shaky whisper. You glance over at him, "I think that was what my goal was. But i was too chicken to do it." Gajeel suddenly hugged you, he tightened his arms around you as if he was to let go, you would be gone. "Don't EVER do it again. You don't need any more scars on your body. Forget about that habit. Do it for me- for you. and your life" He whispered in your ear. You were both too shocked and moved to do anything.  "Okay, i won't-" 

"No i need you to SWEAR not to do it again." He said gripping you tighter. You smiled softly, even though he couldn't see it."Okay. I swear, i will never cut myself again." You swore to him. He nodded but didn't let you go. He held you for the longest time, finally he let you go. He looked you dead in the eyes, his crimson ones boring into your (E/C) ones. You felt your heart begin to beat rapidly, what was this feeling? Why was your heart about to pound out of your chest? Is this what it is like to love someone? B-But... why now?  You felt your cheeks began to glow. So did his. Finally he stood up. "I am going to bed." He said sharply. "Upstairs on left." You said standing up, continuing your normal 'I don't care' face. But what he  saw before, when he looked at you, scanning your face, your jawline, eyes, cute little nose, your lips... he saw a face that showed raw emotions ones of sadness, loneliness, need to be held, he could see you were lost, he wanted to find you again. He wanted to see you smiled again. "Where will you sleep?" He asked. "Anywhere i want. I'll sleep in the shadow realm i guess." You shrugged. "But before you lay your self to bed, allow me to get some things so i can take a bath." Before he could answer  you were walking up the stairs, you grabbed some panties, shorts, a t-shirt, your brush, a stranges suitcase, and walked out. "All yours. Oh..." You said as he walked by, you grabbed his arm. "Don't you dare to look through anything. Some of that stuff... i rather no one see." You said in a growl, he smirked and nodded.  

You walked into the bathroom, drawing up a bath. You opened the suitcase and saw the beauty before you. You reached out and clasped your hands around the neck of a dark cherry wood violin. You smiled, sitting in the bath, you began to play. Not caring to wake up Gajeel. After all you had locks. 

Gajeel PoV

I shut the bedroom door, removing my shirt and boots. I plopped onto the bed. Thinking about what she said.

"Don't you dare to look through anything. Some of that stuff... i rather no one see." 

Okay, normally i would listen but geeze. I had to look. I started at looking through the closet. Nothing there. So then i looked under the bed. I saw a box, pulling it out i opened it, all i saw was a bunch of books. Groaning i slipped it back under the bed. Then i caught sight of a bolted drawer. Lock and key. I looked around wondering where a girl would keep her keys. Then i saw something shiny on top of her dresser. FOUND IT! I quickly unlocked the drawer and saw a sketchbooks. Smirking, i grabbed one that had a velvety cover. I opened it, on the first page was a large dragon. The second was the same dragon. After looking through some of them, i sighed. Putting it back. But i froze when i saw music sheets. 

"Gehee... Shooby Doo Bop time!" I 'borrowed' some sheets. I stuck them in my coat pocket. But then i heard a noise, it was gentle and calming. Following the noise, i found myself at a door, i put my ear on the door. It was muffled, but i could tell it was some sort of Violin, then i heard singing. I pressed my ear further against the door. I listened carefully. 

'And if you try hard enough,' 

CRACK!

All of a sudden the nimble, already weakened from age, door broke in and i fell onto the floor. I looked up and saw a surprised (Y/N). 

"Gehe, i was just getting a drink and i fell." I said and took in the view, she had a dark cherry wood violin in her hands, she had soap bubbles around her chest, her left leg was raised,  so those two things didn't let me see full view. "What. Are. You. DOING?" She yelled. I shrugged, standing. She growled and grabbed a bar of soap, she threw it at me. I bent over and picked it up. "Gee, i would love to join you. I said reaching down as if to strip. "Stop!" She said turning her head. "Oh but why?" I said and smirked. She let out a frustrated sigh.  "PLEASE?" She forced out. I shrugged and walked out. I heard water splashing, and soon she came out dressed in a dark t-shirt and shorts. she looked at me and growled. I smirked. Pleased at myself.
