"Are you ready to see our new house darling?"

"Of course mom, I just hope this is the last time we move because of daddy's job"

"Honey you know we do this to provide for our family right? Its for our own good"

"I know mom, now let me see"

"Move aside ladies, Suitcases coming through"

My mother and I laugh at this and do as we are told so that my Dad, Nestor can put the suitcases inside our new home.

My name is Alyson and Im 16 years old, my mother is Alisa, she makes the worlds best cakes ever, Birthday cakes, wedding cakes, babyshower, you name it. My father Nestor is one of the best surgeons in the world too, and because he is one of the best, he is needed at different places in the world, But hopefully this would be the last time we move, My dad has been working with upcoming surgeons teaching them so hopefully they can be as good and help others as well.

Entering the house I smile as I study it, it has very nice wooden dark walls, the kitchen is nice and big which will allow my mother to keep on working on her creations and allowing me to keep helping her. It has a very nice fire place with a window that allows you to view the outside, perfect for when its raining or snowing, And it has a very nice little space to put a family dinner table. Moving upstairs it has two rooms and one of them has a bathroom in it.

"Mom, Dad, can I have the room with the bathroom in it please!!!!"

"We we're going to give it to you anyway Aly" Says my dad smiling at me.

"Thanks daddy!! and Mom!" I run up to them and hug them both.

Yes I may be a mommy and daddy's girl but thats only because I am an only child. My parents always told me I was a miracle to have because my mother has fertility problems and my parents couldn't have kids, when one day boom! My mother got pregnant and 9 months later they had me. I love my parents like you can never imagine, they are my life, my motivation and my everything, after God of course.

"Honey you should unpack some stuff and rest up, tomorrow is your first day of school and I want you to be prepared" My mother screams to me from downstairs.

"Yes Mommy"

I giggle and start unpacking. I first arrange the clothes in the closet and then I start dressing my bed, I also start arranging my clothes for tomorrow. I will wear A loose red dress with some black leggins and some high red sneakers. I help my mom with her baking but I also have a passion for dancing and maybe tomorrow I will get to try out on the dance team of the school.

When Im almost done putting my stuff on the drawers I hear the doorbell ringing.

"Hmmm that's strange, maybe some neighbors wanting to get to know us" I say to myself.

"Alyson Honey!! Come down here, we've got some neighbors that would like to say hello!"

"Bingo" I say once again to myself and rush downstairs.

I trip on the last step and almost fall, but didn't thankfully, when I look up I see 5 pairs of eyes staring at me with amusement. Great.

"Hello there" I wave my hand at the three strangers.

"Hi there, Im Susan, and this is my husband Evan, and my son Nathan, you guys will be attending school together"

I blush at the mention of a son, and when I look up at him he is still staring at me with amusement.

"Ummm Hi everyone... Sorry about that, Im a bit clumsy at times"

"Hey Nathan why don't you show Alyson around while us parents talk for a bit" my momma says sending a wink my way, resulting on me rolling my eyes.

See the thing is.. I havent had one single boyfriend ever, and even tho my dad is more than happy about it, my mom wants me to like someone and maybe go out and stuff.

"No problem, would you like to go Alyson?" Nathan asks me very politely and I nod in response.

"Be careful out there and only 20 minutes guys, you both have school tomorrow!" my dad says loud and firm and I almost burst out in laughter at his jealousy.

"Yes sir no problem" Nathan replies to my dad.

We start walking outside to the balcony and down the stairs side by side with Nathan leading the way.

"So... we only have 20 minutes and we wont have enough time to see much but If you want I can show you the park and the school wich are like 8 minutes away from our houses"

"Sure, no problem" I smile at him politely.

"So are you excited to go to a new school?"

"Well my whole life I've been moving around places so its kinda old for me, Im kinda used to it"

"Wow that must be awesome, being the new girl from time to time"

"Nah, it gets tyring, You can't really get too attached to anyone because soon or later you end up leaving"

"That sounds kind of sad"

I shrug my shoulders at that.

"So what have you heard about Emerald highschool? anything interesting?"

"Well my parents did all the paper work through fax, email and all that stuff but I searched it up and read they have a dancing team..."

He looks at me with some sort of excitement.

"Oh yess, the dancing team, Its great, Im in it"

"You Are?!! thats awesome!"

"Yes, so... you are into dancing?"

"Among other things, yes"

We keep on walking and talking about the dancing team, they have won shampionships too, and they also have the cheerleaders, the football team and the swimming team. They also have a book club wich I will probably join as well because I love reading books. All in all we have a pretty good time while he shows me the school, the park and his house which is right next door to mine on the right side.

"Thank you so much for showing me around Nathan"

"It was my pleasure, You're pretty nice"

"Thanks you are too" we say our goodbyes and he leaves to his house and I enter mine and go straight to my bathroom to shower, brush my teeth and sleep.

"How was the walk darling?" my mom says entering my room while im brushing my medium long brunette hair.

"It was good mom, Nathan is a very nice boy, and he said he is in the dance team"

"That's great honey, and he wasn't bad looking eather" my mom says wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Mom... you know I didn't look at him in that way" I say rolling my eyes once again.

"I know honey but... you saw his face, so..."

"Ok mom yes he is a pretty attractive guy, happy?"

"YES!!!" my mom laughs clapping her hands like if she was the teenager here.

"Mommy, Im tyred tomorrow is going to be the big day, so I need to sleep, I love you!"

I say hugging her and giving her a kiss, my dad enters and kisses my forehead and leaves with my mom to their room.

"Lets see what tomorrow brings" those are the last words I speak to myself before I let myself fall asleep.
