Dealing With It
"I'm going to hell."
"No, you're not."
"Yah, I am, I wasn't there, I could've saved her, I could've-"
"No, she would've died anyways."
"She's not dead!"
"Yes, she is, deal with it."
"Your best friends dead and you didn't get to say goodbye, deal with it." Roy stared at me. I could see the hurt in his eyes. It was like I just ripped out his heart.
"You know, we're pretty much in the same boat. So you can come, and help move the god damn boat, or you can sit in it and get no where. What do you want to do?" I stared at the fireplace and fell into my mind. "You call me when you have an answer." He said as he left. I didn't know what to do, everything was so different. I started laughing.
"WWEMD, what would Evan and Maice do?" That's when I knew what to do.
Walking into Roy's office was like walking into hell. Everyone stared at me as I silently walked passed them. Roy stood from his seat, dropping his pen.
"Well?" He asked.
"Sorry, but I can't accept this offer." Murmurs went around the room as if I shot someone.
"Wh-" Everyone got quiet when the door handle started to move.
"Did you-" I put my finger over my lips and drew my gun. I fired hitting Roy once in the shoulder and the rest flew into the wall before someone tackled me and the door burst opened.
"Dammit! What the hell are you doing?!" Mustang yelled out. I stared at him, my eyes filling with salty water.
"I'm doing what you told me to do."
"What?" He asked confused.
"I'm dealing with it."
