Chapter 2
Eddy stood at his locker after school collecting his things to head out to his car when Sarah came storming up and suddenly pushed him into the wall of lockers right as he shut his. "Ed better have been joking when he said you wouldn't make it to my birthday this weekend!" She hollered in his face and he sighed. "I'm sorry Sarah, but he's not wrong. I'm gonna be busy this Saturday." He explained calmly, hopping she calm down from her tantrum.
Though, he didn't know why him missing her birthday mattered so much. Last he checked, he was her brother's friend. Not hers. Not to mention she seemed to only have tantrums when it came to him these days. He didn't know why. Outside of whenever he accidentally set her off, she'd grown out of the tantrums.
"Oh, and what could be more important than my birthday?!" She screeched and he rolled his eyes. "Sarah, I do have a life of my own and it doesn't revolve around you. I might be able to swing by and give you a present, but I'm not sure. I have important stuff to do that day that can't be put off." He said before slipping out of her grasp. "Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to be late to work now because of your tantrum." He added as he walked away.
Sarah just stared as he walked off before letting out an ear piercing scream once he was out of sight and out the door. Ed came up to her with a look of concern. "Is something wrong Sarah?" He asked his little sister. Ed wasn't such a block head anymore. Not as much as he used to be at least. He still had his moments and was barely passing, but he wasn't exactly gullible anymore either and was on the lacrosse team as well, giving him some popularity these days.
"Of course something is wrong!" She screeched and he jumped back in surprise. "I'm guessing it has to do with Eddy again?" He asked and she gave him a very scary glare. "What do you think?!" She let out before storming off and Ed just watched in confusion. "Eddy, what did you do now?"

Eddy pulled his used and beat up pick up truck into his driveway and walked inside to find five little five year olds squabbling over the last brownie in a dish that sat on the counter. He just smiled and walked over, pulling out a plastic butter knife as he grabbed the brownie and cut it into five slices, giving each of the kids a slice before he went back to his room and got changed into his work uniform.
"Come on guys! I've gotta drop you lot off at May's and get to work!" Eddy called as the quints came running out of the kitchen. "Okay oonkle Eby!" They cried in sync and he chuckled as he opened the front door.
Once he got the quints sitting in the back of his truck and buckled in he got in the driver seat and started pulling out of the driveway. Once he was on the road, his cell phone rang and he picked up, keeping a hand on the steering wheel. "Hey, Mitzy." He said with a smile. "Hey, Eddy. I just wanted to make sure your still okay with helping out Saturday." Said the feminine voice on the other line.
"Of couse I am. There isn't anything I'd rather do then help out with the quints." Eddy said with a chuckle. "I know, but I really do thank you. I know I'm stealing one of the rare weekends that you're off." Mitzy said and Eddy rolled his eyes with a smile. "Hey, you got work and paying the bills is important, plus the quints can't miss their events. Aiden has his karate match, Blair has her ballet performance, Christopher has his junior bowling competition, Dalis has her beauty pageant, and Eddison has his little league soccer competition. Someone has to take them to all that." Eddy said as he glanced in the rearview mirror and smiled at the quints as they talked to each other with giggles.
"Eddy, I swear... I wish Terry was more like you. If he'd gone through with our marriage you'd be the best brother-i-law." Mitzy said as Eddy came to a red light. "Mitzy, how many times to I have to tell you? You're the mother of my nieces and nephews for crying out loud. I don't care that Terry never stuck around. You're family and so far as I'm concerned, you're my sister." He said and knew she was smiling on the other end. "Thank you again Eddy." She said, then a small pause. "Oh, I gotta go. My break is over. Goodluck at work today." She said before hanging up.
Eddy then dropped the kids off at Mitzy's friend's place. May was waiting outside to greet Eddy and the quints. "Thanks again May. You have no clue how grateful me and Mitzy are for you watching the quints today." He said and May laughed. "No problem. Mitzy is my best friend after all. I'm just glad you didn't turn out to be a dead beat like your brother. You got heart Eddy." May said with a smile and Eddy nodded in gratitude. "I'll admit. I almost did become him. If it wasn't for my friends keeping me from getting to money hungry and well... Honestly? Winding up in Mitzy's care, I don't know where I'd be as a person." He said and May chuckled. "Well, good luck at work. You're off at eleven, right?" May asked and Eddy nodded in confirmation. "I should be back here to grab the quints by eleven thirty give or take." He said before saying a quick goodbye and leaving for his job of the day, the fast food joint.

Kevin sat in his coaches office as the coach himself was pulling up some documents on his computer. "Kevin, I have some news and you aren't gonna like it." The coach said and Kevin raised a brow. "What is it?" He asked curiously. "I'm gonna have to bench you." Replied the coach in all seriousness and Kevin bolted up. "What?! Why?" He asked in surprise. "Your gades. You're failing Kevin. If you don't bring those grades up and start attending class by the next report card I'll have to take you off the team." The coach replied.
Kevin groaned as he sat back down. "How am I supposed to raise my grades so fast?" He asked sullenly. "For starters, stop skipping class and you can talk to the guidance counselor about a tutor." The coach suggested and Kevin nodded before leaving. School was already over, but the guidance counselor was only just leaving her office when Kevin got there.
"I'm sorry to bother you Mrs. Jinn, but I need to ask a favor." Kevin said politely as he approached. "What is it Kevin?" She asked and he sighed as he fixed his cap. "I just got done talking to my coach. I need a tutor that can help me raise my grades buy the next report card." He explained and she grinned. "There is only one student I can think of that fits the bill." She said and Kevin nodded. "Alright, who is it?" He asked.
"Eddward Pensky!"

Put his hands in the bucket.
That's all he needed to do.
Put his hands in the bucket of mud.
Edd squealed as he jumped back, his hands having been hovering inches over the bucket before he moved. "I just can't do it!" He whined in fear and his therapist/coach whatever you want to call him, Dr. Daved Raven, sighed and shook his head. "Come on Eddward. You were so close." He encouraged, but Edd shook his head firmly. "Maybe another day?" He tried and Dr. Raven sighed before checking the time. "We're done here anyways." He said and Edd left right away.
Edd walked out of the building and turned his phone back on before skating through town to the nearest bus stop, planning to go home and study. As he waited for the bus, his phone went off. It was the guidance counselor. "Yes Mrs. Jinn?" He answered calmly and with class. "I need you to tutor a student if you will?" She asked and he thought. "Sure! Sounds fun. Who might it be?" He asked.
"Kevin Burns."
