He was immediately shunned from a young age and once his mermaid mother passed away he was shunned and thrown out for his off putting appearance. He is not bitter and actually enjoys company though he does not get any. He does not have a siren song, the only thing he inherited was illusions. His appearance actually does change just a bit when he is above water. His horn disappears and his tails because a sparkling blue

He found baby finis who had been tossed out by his parents so their status wouldn't be brought down because he was abnormal. He took him in and raised him and is now very protective of him and keeps him shielded
