Hypnotism
-Lumina, Luminous Dragon, Level 4-
"Daddy, what is that lonely dragon in the new habitat called?" My eyes showed glints of curiosity.
"Well my darling, that is a Hypnotic Dragon." Criel whispered, tickling my ear. I giggled with joy. Daddy suddenly began to attack me with a wave of tickles!
I was soon choked with pure laughter! I struggled to spray blasts of Lightdust in Daddy's face. He finally paused to give me a breath, but I was ready! Lightdust was blasted into his eyes and he pushed himself away from me. Once the light cleared, I could see he was coughing up balls of the lightdust I had just spat up his snout.
"Oh Lumin-*cough*-a! You are on prankster!" He was now rubbing the lightdust from his dimming eyes. Once all of the dust was out, the blue, luminescent glow returned. He looked at me with happiness painted into the brightness.
My smile of the joy I had just experienced unsuspectingly dripped slowly off my snout as the Hypnotic dragon next door huffed a spurt of annoyance from between his fangs. I could see hate and sorrow scarred into his dull, grey/magenta eyes.
"What is it my little Sunbeam?" Criel ducked his head low to reach my level. Daddy's feathery tail waved softly in the slight breeze.
"He looks sad, I feel sorry for him."
"Oh Lumina, I feel some of your pain, but we mustn't stare at him or-"
Suddenly the world looked like magenta swirls in the midst of a white, cloudy world. Sleep hung in my eyes. I could see a plasma blue shape in the distance, and it got closer. I soon realized it was one of my wings, and I saw it flapping, shoving innocent puffs of clouds away. I felt myself rise from the ground, mimicking the pattern of the lone wing in the distance, slow, and soft. Wind echoed calmly through every stroke my wing made. Though each wingstroke, sleep dragged my tail down, by I kept going higher! It was like I was a giant magnet, My head being the north pole, reaching to the sky, and my tail, the south pole, reaching to the lightened ground.
Everything seemed to be blocked from my mind, and the twisting feeling made my want to throw up. I kept on wanting to gag, but the odd twisting force sealed my snout. This feeling was like pulling your stomach out of your body, with the revolting urge of wanting to cough up a bolder. Truly, I hated the very experience, but the swirly sky around me prevented me from stopping.
After a few moments of a dizzying feeling, all the pinkish swirls cornering my eyes faded into the light. The wispy clouds thinned into he air, and the strange wing dissolved into the sky. Relief inflated in my soul as I gained full control of my self once more.
I noticed that I was flying at the highest point the habitat would let me go. I gracefully sank to the cushioned magic lightfluff, stretched across the ground. I felt the soft fluff gently touch my toe-claws. I breathed in some fresh air to wipe away the groggy feeling I still had.
Once I could see clearly, I gazed around my home. The only dragons I could see were Glowla, the light dragon, and Gleam the glass dragon. Where is Daddy? My thoughts worried me. I glided over to the two others ing the habitat,"Hey, Glowla, Gleam, Where is my dad?" Their faces suddenly looked pained.
"Sweetie, I, I am sorry." Glowla said sorrowfully. I was a little confused,"Your father, he.." She couldn't make out the words. Gleam suddenly piped up to finish her sentence. My eyes radiated horror as Gleam began to speak.
"Criel has been sent to the Hibernation caves!!"
