Time skip to tomorrow

Ruby POV

I was walking through the courtyard thinking about how different everything is since (Y/n) got back here 'It is nice to have him back and all, but I still need to focus on school stuff, now that he has his sister, they should be fine for the most part' I thought as I walked. Out of the corner of my eye I saw (Y/n) heading into the forest 'Why's he going into the woods?' I thought and decided to follow him. I kept my distance and made sure to stay down wind to avoid him smelling me and I used trees to move around quickly. He eventually stopped in a clearing and said 

"This seems good" and he sat down. He got into a position that looked as if he was meditating and some weird red lines appeared around him. I kept watching as a strange black orb appeared in front of him and he said "Come on" and then the orb dissipated and he said 

"Finally, done" and the lines went away. He then stood up and stretched his arms 'Time for me to go' I thought and before I could get away he whipped around and threw a knife and it stuck my cloak to the tree 'Crap' I thought trying to get away 

"Ruby, come here" he said and I pulled the knife out and walked up to him 

"How much did you see?" 

"The whole thing" and he rubbed his temples 

"I'm assuming you want to know what it was that I was doing?" and I nodded 

"Well, you know that demon my sister killed, what I was doing was expelling her soul back to hell and locking there" and I was confused by this 

"Why didn't you do this at the school?" and he chuckled 

"You really think that your team would like me doing that in your dorm, and look at the grass I did it on" he said pointing to where was was sitting. The grass was all dead and nothing was left there. 

"Oh, I guess that's fine then" I said and he rubbed my head 

"Come on, let's go back to the school" and we both started to head back to Beacon.

(Y/n) POV

'Weird, that usually takes longer' I thought as me and Ruby went back to the academy 

"Hey (Y/n)?" 

"Yes Ruby?" 

"Why is your hair white and your eyes yellow now?" and I stopped 

"I don't really know, probably a side effect of my more powerful form" and she nodded. We continued to walk in silence and I then felt something 

"Ruby duck!" I yelled and pushed her head down. We barely avoided a large black wave of razor sharp darkness. I pulled her back and we both jumped back about 15 feet and I asked 

"Ruby, do you have your scythe?" 

"No, but I can call it" and Ruby called her locker to land near us and it had Yuki inside it 

"Hah, one of the four legendary weapons (D/n)? I never thought you would trust it to a child" a mocking voice said that seemed to have no origin 

"Show yourself" I said to the nothingness 

"Fine, but be aware" and a man appeared out of the shadows 

"I won't be as easy to defeat without your precious sister" and the man grew a cocky smirk 

"Ruby, go find my sister, Rabbit, Lisa, or Nova, any of them, tell them to hurry over here" 

"But (Y/-" and I cut her off by looking at her with my now bright yellow dragon eyes 

"I said now!" and she hesitantly nodded and ran off 

"Not so fast there kiddy" another voice said and another person came out of no where and kicked Ruby across the stomach 

"Ruby!" I yelled and caught her 

"So this is our opponent" the first man said and I laid Ruby down 

"who are you two" I growled at them 

"That's just rude, were not done having our fun" and a girl walked out next to the man 

"Who are you two" I said standing up to meet them 

"My names Ricktofen, and this is-" and she cut him off by jumping up and saying 

"I'm Yuuri!" and Ricktofen dusted himself off 

"yes well, were here to kill you and anyone who would stand in our way" and I put my hand up and motioned them to come closer 

"Well come on then, I wanna see if your as cracked up as you both say you are" 

"Gladly" Yurri said and rushed me. Granted she was defiantly faster than Exile was, her emotions were getting in the way of her making better moves 

"Stay still" she grunted trying to catch me 

"Hey, it's not my fault you can't hit what's right in front of you" and she responded by nailing me in the stomach and it sent me back. I coughed up blood and said 

"You know, that hurt a little bit" I said wiping my lip off 

"You little bastard" she said gritting her teeth 

"Little, your shorter than me" I said with a playful smirk and something seemed to snap and she was about to try something until Ricktofen put his hand on her shoulder 

"Calm down, you go find the girl, I'll deal with (D/n)" 

"Ugh, fine" and Yuuri turned into a wolf and ran off somewhere to go find Ruby, who managed to slip away 

"Now (D/n), I hope your ready for a real challenge" 

"always" and he lifted his left hand and snapped his fingers. I could see the shadows all lunge at me. 'What the?' I thought as the shadows formed sharp edges and all of them swiped me. I could feel them slice through my skin and cut me deeply, once they stopped I fell to my knees and said 

"Wow, that was n-*cough*-not expected" I said with blood coming out of my now many cuts 

"I can do more (D/n)" and the shadows then came together and formed up into a sphere. A beam then shot out of the sphere and I barley had time to dodge it but I managed to rush Ricktofen and my hands were both engulfed in (f/c) flames and I punched his face and kneed him in the gut. He coughed and I hit the back of his head and kicked him away, once he stopped he stood up and said 

"Not bad, for a dragon" 

"Your not bad either, for a demon" and he then cracked his neck 

"You know (D/n), the chance that you'll survive our encounter is very small" and I smirked 

"Look ass hat, there's two ways this is gonna end, I'm gonna die with my fist down your throat, or I'm gonna walk out of here with your teeth hanging from a string around my neck, either way is fine with me" and he chuckled 

"Well then, allow me to give you a third option, you die and I'm the one who claims your head" 

"Yeah, I'm gonna have to take a rain check on that one" I said and he took of his coat 

"then, you can just vanish" and his shadows wrapped around my feet and held me in place as others enveloped my body. I felt pain course through every part of my body the longer I stayed in the cloud. I fell to my knees and gritted my teeth, refusing to give him the pleasure of letting him hear me cry out in pain 

"I want to hear some noise (D/n), cry, cry for me!" eh said with an insane smile 

"Not today" I said and I started to absorb the shadows 

"(Y/n)!" I heard some one yell and I looked over and saw Ruby standing with Nova 

"Hold on, I'll help you" and she was about to run in till I held up my hand to stop her and I say 

"No, I got this" and Ricktofen laughed 

"You'll die as well!" and I then started to eat his shadow again. Once I ate them all I fell to the ground and clutched my stomach 

"(Y/n), you idiot, dragons can only absorb their power , not anything else" Nova said and was about to run over to me till I stopped rolling around 

"Well, then" I said and felt a new surge of energy  

"That's clearly not true" I said and stood up. My hair was now stained jet black and my eyes were now glowing red, I was also sporting a wide toothy smile 

"What is this, what are you?" Ricktofen said clearly intimidated 

"I am your judge, your jury, and your executioner" and I used my new shadow powers and went into the ground as a shadow.

Nova POV

I watched in fear as (Y/n) had an insane smile on his face. He then went into the ground and the demon did the same to get away. 

"Nova. which one is (Y/n), I can't tell" Ruby said 

"I can't either, but I'm assuming the faster one is (Y/n)" and both shadows came out of the ground and (Y/n), grabbed the demon's head and slam it into the ground 

"Oh, what's wrong, I think your all bark and no bite" he said with an insane look on his face 

"Your insane" he said crawling away 

"Do you know what the definition of insanity is? Ricky?" he said stomping on his arm adn (Y/n) continued

"It means, doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting different results, now then" and he grabbed his head and made him look at (Y/n) and he whispered 

"Which one of us is truly insane?" and he quickly managed to dodge an attempt by (Y/n) who tried to smash his head and said 

"I don't have to take this from you, I'm going to kill you" and the demon started to transform. He now had two large bat wings, and now stood 8'3, and he grew long nails 

"Die" he said in a demonic voice and punched (Y/n). (Y/n) hit something and started laughing 

"hahahahahahahaha, you transformed and expect something different to happen, Guess I'll transform to make it even" and (Y/n) started to glow red and black. We had to look away from (Y/n) when the light intensified and once it died down we looked back, and like when Luna died, (Y/n) had a new form(Looks like Red eyes black dragon). The air became thick and heavy from the shadows and (Y/n) let out a low growl and he swiped his claws, cutting the demon in three pieces 

"Are you two okay?" (Y/n) said looking back at us 

"yeah, were fine" I said and (Y/n) transformed back into a human form 

"that's new" he said running his hands through his now black hair 

"what was that?" I asked him 

"Something no one really understands yet" he said stretching his arm 

"Ricktofen, I lost the gir- hey what are you three doing here?" said a other demon who was here 

"Who's this?" I asked (Y/n) who smirked 

"the weak link" and she then charged him and said 

"I'm not we-" and (Y/n) cut her off by punching her stomach and knocked her down 

"Since I killed your friend, I wont let you get away, but to be fair, I'll give you a 30 second head start" and she stood up and started to run away 

"29, 28, 27, 26,25,24,23,22,21,20,19,18" and I looked down at the dead demon's corpse and saw it's black blood flow out onto some grass and the grass died on contact 

"9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0" and (Y/n) transformed into dragon form and flew after the demon. Me and Ruby sat down and we started to talk about random stuff like what it is like to actually be a dragon or how breathing fire is like when we heard (Y/n) fly back 

"So, how was the chase?" I asked him and he licked his lips and said 

"It was *burp* fun, for how long it lasted" and I noticed some blood on his hands and some in the corners of his mouth . Me and Ruby both looked at each other and we thought the same thing 

"Come on, i want to go back to school" and we started heading back to school.
