that thought really gets into jaemin's head.

so when he realized he told jeno that he liked him, he panicked and pretended like nothing happened. what about donghyun then? what is donghyun to him? does he even love donghyun as he has always thought?

he thinks back of the whole 3 months being in a relationship with donghyun, and all the moments make him smile happily. but jeno keeps appearing in his memories with donghyun. actually, jeno has always appeared in every memory of jaemin and his (ex) boyfriend. jaemin then realizes, donghyun and all of his ex boyfriends somehow really resemble jeno.

oh my god. the person he loves all along is jeno. he never loved donghyun or anyone other than jeno. he was only looking for 'another jeno' to love because he knows he can't have 'the real jeno'.

that was why he avoided jeno.

''you're not avoiding me anymore, ok? listen to what i gotta say and then decide again whether you wanna continue avoiding me or not.''

jaemin sighs. ''okay.''

jeno keeps them staying in that position and continues to talk. ''i know you still remember that night. and i never once forget that either. would you care to tell me if you really meant it when you said that?'' he turns jaemin around so they can face each other and looks deeply into jaemin's eyes. jaemin gulps down nervously. he doesn't know what he should say. how can he say that he likes jeno when still has a whole donghyun being his boyfriend? he is a decent person and he doesn't want to cheat on his boyfriend.

somehow jeno can see that in his eyes. he worriedly cups jaemin's face.

''do you like me? i mean...'' jaemin flicks his eyes up to look at jeno but immediately turns away when he sees that passionate look from the other boy. ''i need to know the feelings from your side first. i don't want to turn myself into a joke.''

jeno sighs. ''omg jaemin. didn't you see? i was all over you that night. and i even initiated after that, asking if you want to sleep with me, telling you to give me a kiss every morning, telling you to make me breakfast, trying to hug you every time i see you, trying to smooch you even when your boyfriend is here.''

jaemin glances at the other. ''but what about rose? you always had different girls coming home every week but you've been bringing only her home and you didn't even say anything when i said 'your girlfriend'.''

''omg jaemin.'' jeno frustratedly runs his hands through his hair. ''you're the reason why she was here from the beginning.''

jaemin confusedly opens his eyes wide, not understanding what jeno just said. ''what do you mean?''

''jaemin, ever since i knew my feelings for you, i had stopped having one night stands. i asked rose to come and help make you jealous so that you can finally realize you're in love with me and break up with donghyun. but instead, you made that stupid list and told me to have less sex... we didn't even have sex, all she did was fake moaning as loud as possible so you can hear us.''

jaemin still looks dumbfounded, mouth hangs open a little bit and looks up at jeno. then his face turns into a grin and now jeno is the dumbfounded one. ''what?''

jaemin didn't answer, he leans in and puts a chaste kiss on jeno's lips instead. still smiling, he starts to kiss every part of jeno's face, from his forehead to his nose, his cheeks, his jaws, to his lips. jeno smiles into the last kiss.

''so do you like me or not huh?'' asks jeno, arms sneakily wrap around the other's waist.

jaemin wraps his arms around jeno's neck and looks him in the eye. ''no, jeno. i don't just like you, i. love. you. i'm kissing you so it means i'm cheating on my boyfriend right now. not the best decision but... i love you jeno, so, tell me you love me too and kiss me back before i change my mind.''

says no more, jeno leans in and deepens the kiss. they'll have to think of a way to apologize to donghyun later, and probably feel guilty about it for the rest of their life. but right now, let them be like this for a while. let the happiness sinks in.
