Acornfall and Graypelt licked the leader's shoulder and sat down for their vigil.

Dreampaw smiled, "Great job!" she yowled. 

They nodded mutely, taking their vigil seriously. 

Dreampaw yawned. "Sparkpelt what do we do now?"

"Mouse-brain!" she snarled, "Go to your moss nest, pipsqueak."

Anger blazed in her eyes for a second.

"Need a punishment?" Sparkpelt hissed, unsheathing her claws.

Dreampaw forced herself to relax.

"Good," Sparkpelt sat up, satisfied.

Dreampaw padded to the apprentice's den and lay down.
