Hello people! So Harry Potter time? Harry Potter time!
Let's go with my answers first, shall we?
So yeah, I actually had a hard time deciding which was my most and least favorite books, simply because I adored all of them. I mean, who wouldn't?
But I guess I chose Prisoner of Azkaban as my favorite because I've read it the most.
At first I thought of narrowing my choices to three (which is also really hard), the results were Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows. I gave reasons as to why I love each book, and came to that conclusion.
The Philosopher's Stone
Although the one I read was the Scholastic version, I call the first book as it's original name.
I didn't really have a choice on which book to read...I only borrowed it. If you didn't know, I only started reading actual books during August 2016, I was told to borrow the books because my uncle has them, instead of spending money. So yeah. ANnnyway, enough babbling.
Philosopher's Stone started everything. That was the book that introduced me to magic, believe it or not, I only payed attention to the movies after I finished reading the books. It introduced me to the wizarding world. And well, the story itself was breathtaking. I couldn't even put it down. The adventure, the plot twist, the ghosts, everything! I just love it.
Prisoner of Azkaban is my most read book. I love it a lot. I don't even know why, but I immediately decided that 'The Marauders are awesome'. And wow, I didn't even expect the Peter-Sirius plot twist (told you I didn't pay attention to the movies heh). The next few times I read it, the magic was still awesome. And ayye, WWoooolfstaaar.
But Wolfstar aside, I never really knew why I got so attached to this book, like up till now it's still a mystery to me. I mean maybe it's the Marauder's thingy but I couldn't get that the first time I read it. I did the next times tho lol.
Deathly Hallows is probably my least read book (along with Chamber of Secrets) because it's the only book that was newly bought so it's new and the damn paper is still white. I don't do Black text and white paper/background. Pfft and no, I didn't buy it. Apparently because I asked 'Is the seventh book here now?' a lot everyday, my mom told my brother to buy it. I am not complaining.
Anywaaay, I probably should like the Deathly Hallows most because of the deepness my reasons have but noooooo, gut feel said Azkaban. So yeah, I liked the Deathly Hallows a lot and part of it was because of the adventure the Trio had, and the search for the Horcruxes was so cool? Suspense-ish? Idek the proper word lol but yeah.
Now for the main reason, The Marauders are together. They're dead yes, but they're together.
I don't care if I'm living in a fantasy but I see the others sort off forgiving Peter. I know it's pretty far fetched but I have this whole scene in my head. I might share it here sometime 😁😁.
Anyway yeah, that's just so wonderful. I'm sad that Harry didn't get much time with them but they're together. Damn that's probably my favorite part? The part where Harry uses the stone. They were all together Merlin you don't even know how much I loved it.
Yeah this is getting too long. I think you got the point.
For my least one I just chose Chamber of Secrets because it's my least read book. I loved it lol. Just. I didn't read it as much as the others.
About my least favorite movie...Order of The Phoenix.
They killed Sirius there. I mean they did in the books too but that's different? The book hit me straight in the feels, like. Dammit Jo why you do this to me?
The movie one was...I only got feels when Harry screamed and the look of Siruis when he fell through the veil.
I mean if your gonna kill one of my favorite characters do it right?
The book had so much more feels. I know you know what I'm talking about.
Favorite male character?
Marauders. I mean, Harry has a special place in my potterhead heart of course.
If you'll make me choose if I'd want another Harry Potter book centered around the Trio and/or their children (and not just Scorpius and Albus) or a book or miniseries centered around The Marauders + Lily's life? I'd choose the latter. I won't even care if it won't have Wolfstar in it (I would care actually)? I won't care if none of them are queer (I would care actually). I just want this. Jo? We need this. Like dang it Jo, I'm am waiting.
That's probably all I'll be elaborating for now.
