They both yowled, and crashed face-first into each other. "Woah!" The apprentice said as he stumbled back onto his territory. Siltpaw rubbed her head where it had hit his. She shot him a glare. "Hey! What's the big idea? Hunting in EarthClan territory?" The apprentice hissed. "What was I doing in EarthClan territory? What were you doing in TreeClan?" Siltpaw unsheathed her claws. If she had to fight him, she would. The apprentice took a step back. "Okay," He purred all signs of aggression gone. "It was right in between our borders. I'm Timberpaw, by the way." Siltpaw decided the threat was over. "I'm Siltpaw. You can have the rabbit if you want-we have plenty of prey." Timberpaw sat. "It's okay, I already got some. You can take it." "Thanks," Siltpaw purred, picking up the rabbit and putting it on her side of the border. "Timberpaw curled his tail in pleasure and stared at Siltpaw. "Why are you so muddy?" Siltpaw curled her tail as well. "I'm a EarthClan cat—my nest is made of mud. I sleep in it." Timberpaw tilted his head to the side. "Weird. Wouldn't you rather sleep in a nice comfy pile of leaves instead?" Siltpaw shuddered. "With bugs crawling through them, and being cold all night? No thanks." Timberpaw purred. "Well, mud sounds yucky to me. All squishy—gross!" Siltpaw purred and heard a cat calling on the TreeClan border. Timberpaw's tail drooped. "That's my mentor—Palmheart. He's looking for me. I gotta go. Hey—do you want to meet here again sometime?" Siltpaw's eyes brightened. "That would be cool. Maybe tomorrow at sun-high?" Timberpaw waved his tail happily. "Cool! See you tomorrow!" He stood and ran in the direction of the voice, that was yowling more urgently now. Siltpaw picked up the rabbit and went back to where Peatpaw was waiting with the mouse. "What took you so long?" Siltpaw's heart hammered in her chest. "Just—catching a rabbit."
