The little girl smiled as she saw the fear in my eyes. "We would play later,"

Then she disappeared.

There was a knock on the window, but I ignored it. I was still in shock.

What was that? Who was that girl? When I tried recalling her features but my mind came out blank. What the hell was going on?

The knock came again, this time even more persistent. Probably those tree branches hitting it. The knocking became louder and harder.

With an annoyed frown, I turned my head to the window and was shocked at the sight in front of me.

The guy was there.

I rushed and opened the window as I watched him effortlessly untangle himself from the branches to enter into my room.

"About time, I was knocking for hours," He said brushing past me and looking around the room.

"Nice place you got here,"

I was still surprised. What was he doing here? And why did he always pick the worst time to show up?

Damn, I was asking myself a lot of questions today.

"So you won't talk to me. I honestly expected you to shout, curse then ask me what I am doing here. Guess you've lost your Moxy."

I realized I hadn't spoken. "What are you doing here," I asked surprised at how soft it came out. The ghost girl really scared the shit out of me.

He smiled. "My name is Jake And I'm here to answer your questions, Cassie."

A chill ran through me at the sound of that name. "I don't know why you called me that but my name is Lia." I corrected.

He shook his head and sat down on my bed. "There's a lot of things you don't know. I suggest you sit down for this, you might not like what I am about to tell you," he said patting the space beside him.

I sat down and faced him. Fuck it, if he was ready to talk I wasn't going to stop him. I really needed answers.

"Tell me everything."
